मैं वह भूमि हूँ जहाँ महान महाकाव्य ‘रामायण’ और ‘महाभारत’ के नायक और घटनाएँ संजीवित होती हैं. राम, सीता, लक्ष्मण और हनुमान की दिव्यता मेरी मिट्टी में बसे हुए हैं. कृष्ण की लीला और गीता का उपदेश मेरी आत्मा में गूंजता है. महाभारत के युद्धक्षेत्र कुरुक्षेत्र में धर्म और अधर्म की महान लड़ाई लड़ी गई, जिसने मानवता को जीवन के मूल्यों का पाठ पढ़ाया.
मेरे पास पर्वतों की माला है—हिमालय, जो मेरी उत्तर दिशा की रक्षा करता है. मेरी पूर्व और पश्चिम सीमाओं पर सुंदर समुद्री किनारे हैं—बंगाल की खाड़ी और अरब सागर. मेरे पास विंध्याचल और सतपुड़ा की श्रृंखलाएँ हैं, जो मेरी जड़ों को स्थिरता देती हैं. मेरे भीतर गंगा, यमुना, ब्रह्मपुत्र, कावेरी और नर्मदा जैसी पवित्र नदियाँ बहती हैं, जो मेरी धरती को उर्वर बनाती हैं.
मेरी विविधता में ही मेरी एकता है. यहाँ हिन्दू, मुसलमान, सिख, ईसाई, जैन, बौद्ध सभी मिलकर जीवन जीते हैं. मेरे उत्सवों में होली, दिवाली, ईद, क्रिसमस का उत्साह छिपा हुआ है. यहाँ की भाषाएँ, वेशभूषाएँ, नृत्य और संगीत मेरी संस्कृति का अभिन्न हिस्सा हैं. योग और आयुर्वेद जैसी प्राचीन विद्याएँ मेरी धरोहर हैं, जो पूरी दुनिया में विख्यात हैं.
मेरे पास ताजमहल की सुंदरता है जो प्रेम की निशानी है, जयपुर के किले जो शौर्य की कहानियाँ कहते हैं, काशी के घाट जो आस्था का प्रतीक हैं, और गोवा के समुद्रतट जो जीवन की चंचलता को दर्शाते हैं. हिमालय की पर्वतीय सुंदरता, राजस्थान के रेगिस्तान, केरल की हरियाली, और उत्तराखंड के तीर्थस्थल जैसे चार धाम यात्रा मेरी शोभा बढ़ाते हैं.
मेरे गर्व का स्रोत हैं वे महान आत्माएँ जिन्होंने मुझे विश्व में अद्वितीय बनाया. महात्मा गाँधी का सत्याग्रह और अहिंसा का संदेश, स्वामी विवेकानंद की ज्ञान की ज्योति, डॉ. ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम की विज्ञान की उपलब्धियाँ, और मदर टेरेसा की सेवा की भावना ने मुझे प्रेरित किया है. रवीन्द्रनाथ ठाकुर की कविताएँ, सुभाष चन्द्र बोस का वीरता, और सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल का नेतृत्व मेरे गौरवशाली इतिहास का हिस्सा हैं.
मैं वही भारतवर्ष हूँ, जो समृद्धि, संस्कृति, और साहस का प्रतीक है. मैं विविधता में एकता को जीने वाला, आध्यात्मिकता को अपनाने वाला, और अपने महापुरुषों की विरासत को संजोने वाला देश हूँ. “भारतवर्ष” मेरे हर अंश में है, और मैं गर्व से कह सकता हूँ कि मैं इस महान भूमि का निवासी हूँ

The history of my existence is linked to eternity, and every particle of me resonates with mythological stories and the sagas of great men. I am the land where Rama, Krishna, and Mahatma Buddha wrote important chapters of their lives.
I am the land where the heroes and events of the great epics ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Mahabharata’ came to life. The divinity of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman resides in my soil. The leela of Krishna and the preaching of the Gita resonate in my soul. The great battle of Dharma and Adharma was fought in Kurukshetra, the battlefield of the Mahabharata, which taught humanity the values of life.
I have a chain of mountains—the Himalayas, which protects my north. I have beautiful seashores on my eastern and western borders—the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. I have the Vindhyachal and Satpura ranges, which give stability to my roots. Holy rivers like the Ganga, the Yamuna, the Brahmaputra, the Kaveri, and the Narmada flow within me, which make my land fertile.
My unity lies in my diversity. Here, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, Buddhists all live together. The excitement of Holi, Diwali, Eid, and Christmas is hidden in my festivals. The languages, costumes, dance, and music here are an integral part of my culture. Ancient knowledge like Yoga and Ayurveda is my heritage, which is famous all over the world.
I have the beauty of the Taj Mahal, a symbol of love; the forts of Jaipur, which tell stories of bravery; the ghats of Kashi, a symbol of faith; and the beaches of Goa, which reflect the transience of life. The mountain beauty of the Himalayas, the deserts of Rajasthan, the greenery of Kerala, and the pilgrimage sites of Uttarakhand, such as the Char Dham Yatra, enhance my beauty.
The source of my pride is those great souls who made me unique in the world. Mahatma Gandhi’s message of satyagraha and non-violence, Swami Vivekananda’s light of knowledge, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s scientific achievements, and Mother Teresa’s spirit of service have inspired me. Rabindranath Tagore’s poems, Subhash Chandra Bose’s valour, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s leadership are part of my glorious history.
I am the same Bharatvarsh, which is a symbol of prosperity, culture, and courage. I am a country that lives in unity in diversity, embraces spirituality, and cherishes the legacy of its great men. “Bharatvarsh” is in every part of me, and I can proudly say that I am a resident of this great land.
