सत्संग की समाप्ति के बाद भक्तों ने महाराजजी से पूछा कि, महाराजजी पुरुषोत्तम मास के कृष्ण पक्ष में जो एकादशी होती है, उस एकादशी के व्रत की महिमा व विधि के बारे में बताएं. सुना है कि इस एकादशी व्रत का पालन कुबेर ने भी किया था जिससे प्रसन्न होकर भगवान शिव ने कुबेर को धनाध्यक्ष का पद दे दिया.
वालव्याससुमनजी महाराज कहते है कि, मलमास या यूँ कहें की पुरुषोत्तम मास बड़ा ही पवित्र और पावन महीना होता है. इस महीने में किये गये व्रत और पूजा-पाठ का फल अलौकिक होता है. महाराजजी कहते हैं कि, एक तो पुरुषोत्तम मास के कृष्ण पक्ष में जो एकादशी होती है उसे कमला, परमा या हरिवल्लभ एकादशी के नाम से जानते हैं. इस बार यह एकादशी का व्रत 29 जुलाई, शनिवार को रखा जाएगा. जो भी भक्त सच्चे मन या हृदय से भक्तिपूर्वक व्रत करता है उस पर बांके बिहारी लाल की कृपा बनी रहती है और उसे सभी प्रकार की निधियां और दुर्लभ सिद्धियाँ भी प्राप्त हो जाती है.
पूजन सामाग्री :-
वेदी, कलश, सप्तधान, पंच पल्लव, रोली, गोपी चन्दन, गंगा जल, दूध, दही, गाय के घी का दीपक, सुपाड़ी, शहद, पंचामृत, मोगरे की अगरबत्ती, ऋतू फल, फुल, आंवला, अनार, लौंग, नारियल, नीबूं, नवैध, केला और तुलसी पत्र व मंजरी.
व्रत विधि:-
सबसे पहले आपको एकादशी के दिन सुबह उठ कर स्नान करना चाहिए और व्रत का संकल्प लेना चाहिए. उसके बाद भगवान विष्णु की मूर्ति या चित्र की स्थापना की जाती है. उसके बाद भगवान विष्णु की पूजा के लिए धूप, दीप, नारियल और पुष्प का प्रयोग करना चाहिए. अंत में भगवान विष्णु के स्वरूप का स्मरण करते हुए ध्यान लगायें, उसके बाद विष्णु सहस्त्रनाम का पाठ करके, कथा पढ़ते हुए विधिपूर्वक पूजन करें. ध्यान दें…. एकादशी की रात्री को जागरण अवश्य ही करना चाहिए, दुसरे दिन द्वादशी के दिन सुबह ब्राह्मणो को अन्न दान व दक्षिणा देकर इस व्रत को संपन्न करना चाहिए.
विशेष:- एकादशी के दिन भगवान मधुसुदन को पंचामृत से स्नान कराते हुए इस मन्त्र को जरुर बोलना चाहिए.
मंत्र:-
।। एकादश्यां निराहार: स्थित्वाहमपरेअहनि, भोक्ष्यामि पुण्डरीकाक्ष शरणं मे भवाच्युत।।
कथा:-
काम्पिल्य नगरी में सुमेधा नामक एक ब्राह्मण अपनी पत्नी के साथ निवास करता था. ब्रह्मण बड़ा ही धर्मात्मा था और उसकी पत्नी पतिव्रता थी. यह परिवार स्वयं भूखा रह जाता परंतु, अतिथियों की सेवा हृदय से करता था. धनाभाव के कारण एक दिन ब्रह्मण ने ब्रह्मणी से कहा कि, धनोपार्जन के लिए मुझे परदेश जाना चाहिए क्योंकि अर्थाभाव में परिवार चलाना अति मुश्किल है. तब, ब्रह्मण की पत्नी ने कहा कि, मनुष्य जो कुछ पाता है वह अपने भाग्य से ही पाता है. हमें पूर्व जन्म के फल के कारण यह ग़रीबी मिली है अत: यहीं रहकर कर्म कीजिए जो प्रभु की इच्छा होगी वही होगा. ब्रह्मण को पत्नी की बात ठीक लगी और वह परदेश नहीं गया. एक दिन की बात है कि, कौण्डिल्य ऋषि उधर से गुजर रहे थे और वो उस ब्रह्मण के घर पर पधारे. ऋषि को देखकर ब्राह्मण और ब्राह्मणी अति प्रसन्न हुए. उन्होंने ऋषिवर की खूब सेवा और आवभगत की.
कौण्डिल्य ऋषि उनकी सेवा भावना को देखकर काफी प्रसन्न हुए और ब्राह्मण एवं ब्राह्मणी द्वारा यह पूछे जाने पर की उनकी गरीबी और दीनता कैसे दूर हो सकती है? कौण्डिल्य ऋषि ने कहा कि, मलमास के कृष्ण पक्ष की जो एकादशी होती है उसे परमा एकादशी के नाम से जानी जाती है, और इस एकादशी का व्रत आप दोनों रखें. ऋषि ने कहा कि, यह एकादशी धन वैभव देती है तथा पापों का नाश कर उत्तम गति भी प्रदान करती है. किसी समय धनाधिपति कुबेर ने भी इस व्रत का पालन किया था जिससे प्रसन्न होकर भगवान शंकर ने उन्हें धनाध्यक्ष का पद प्रदान किया था.
समय आने पर सुमेधा नामक उस ब्राह्मण ने विधि पूर्वक इस एकादशी का व्रत को रखा, जिससे उनकी गरीबी का अंत हुआ और पृथ्वी पर काफी समय तक सुख भोगकर वे पति पत्नी श्री विष्णु के उत्तम लोक को प्रस्थान कर गये.
विशेष:- व्रत की समाप्ति द्वादशी के दिन होती है. द्वादशी के दिन दैनिक क्रियायों को निपटाकर भगवान गोविन्द को दूध से स्नान कराएं और हाथ जोड़कर निम्न मंत्र से प्रार्थना करना चाहिए.

।। अज्ञानतिमि रान्धस्य व्रतेनानेन केशव, प्रसीद सुमुखो भूत्वा ज्ञानदृष्टिप्रदो भव ।।
एकादशी का फल :-
एकादशी प्राणियों के परम लक्ष्य, भगवद भक्ति, को प्राप्त करने में सहायक होती है. यह दिन प्रभु की पूर्ण श्रद्धा से सेवा करने के लिए अति शुभकारी एवं फलदायक माना गया है. इस दिन व्यक्ति इच्छाओं से मुक्त हो कर यदि शुद्ध मन से भगवान की भक्तिमयी सेवा करता है तो वह अवश्य ही प्रभु की कृपापात्र बनता है.

Parma or Harivallabh Ekadashi…
After the end of the Satsang, the devotees asked Maharaj ji that, Maharaj ji should tell about the glory and method of fasting during that Ekadashi, which is held in the Krishna Paksha of Purushottam month. It is heard that this Ekadashi fast was also observed by Kubera, being pleased with this, Lord Shiva gave Kubera the post of Dhanadhyaksha.
Valvyassuman ji Maharaj says that Malmas or should we say that Purushottam month is a very sacred and auspicious month. The fruit of fasting and worship done in this month is supernatural. Maharaj ji says that the Ekadashi which is held in the Krishna Paksha of Purushottam month is known as Kamla, Parma, or Harivallabh Ekadashi. This time this Ekadashi fast will be observed on 29th July, Saturday. Banke Bihari Lal’s grace remains on the devotee who fasts with true mind or heart and he also gets all kinds of funds and rare achievements.
Worship material: –
Vedi, Kalash, Saptadhan, Panch Pallav, Roli, Gopi Chandan, Ganges water, milk, curd, the lamp of cow’s ghee, betel nut, honey, panchamrit, incense sticks of mogre, seasonal fruits, flowers, amla, pomegranate, cloves, coconut, Lemon, illegal, banana and basil leaves and Manjari.
Fasting method: –
First of all, on the day of Ekadashi, you should wake up early in the morning and take a bath and take a vow of fasting. After that, the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu is established. After that incense, lamp, coconut, and flowers should be used to worship Lord Vishnu. In the end, meditate remembering the form of Lord Vishnu, and after that recite Vishnu Sahastranam and worship it methodically while reciting the story. Pay attention… Jagran must be done on the night of Ekadashi, on the second day of Dwadashi, this fast should be completed by donating food and Dakshina to Brahmins.
Special:- On the day of Ekadashi, this mantra must be chanted while bathing Lord Madhusudan with Panchamrit.

।। Ekaadashyaan Niraahaar: Sthitavaahamapareahani, Bhokshyaami Pundareekaaksh Sharanan Me Bhavachyut।।
Story:-
A Brahmin named Sumedha lived with his wife in Kampilya city. Brahmin was very pious and his wife was chaste. This family itself would have remained hungry, but used to serve the guests from the heart. Due to lack of money, one day a Brahmin said to a Brahmin that he should go abroad to earn money because running a family is very difficult due to lack of money. Then, the Brahmin’s wife said that whatever a man gets, he gets by his own destiny. We have got this poverty because of the result of our previous birth, so stay here and do your work, whatever God’s will will happen. The Brahmin liked the words of his wife and did not go abroad. Once upon a time, Rishi Kaundilya was passing by and he came to that Brahmin’s house. Brahmins and Brahmins were very happy to see the sage. He served and entertained Rishivar a lot.
Kaundilya Rishi was very pleased to see his service spirit and when asked by Brahmins and Brahmins how their poverty and lowliness could be removed.? Kaundilya Rishi said that the Ekadashi that falls on the Krishna Paksha of Malmas is known as Parma Ekadashi, and both of you should fast on this Ekadashi. The sage said that this Ekadashi bestows wealth and destroys sins and also bestows speed. Once upon a time, the wealthy lord Kuber had also observed this fast, pleased with which Lord Shankar had given him the post of wealthy.
When the time came, that Brahmin named Sumedha duly observed the fast of this Ekadashi, due to which his poverty came to an end, and after enjoying happiness on earth for a long time, he left for the perfect world of husband and wife Shri Vishnu.
Special:- The fast ends on the day of Dwadashi. On the day of Dwadashi, after completing the daily activities, bathe Lord Govind with milk and with folded hands, and pray with the following mantra.

।। Agyaanatimi Raandhasy Vratenaanan Keshav, Praseed Sumukho Bhootva Gyaanadrshtiprado Bhav।।
Result’ of Ekadashi: –
Ekadashi helps in achieving the ultimate goal of living beings, devotion to God. This day is considered very auspicious and fruitful to serve the Lord with full devotion. On this day, if a person frees himself from desires and does devotional service to God with a pure heart, then he definitely becomes blessed by God.
