आंसुओं की बाढ़ में सपने भी बह गए…

हर वर्ष की भाँती इस वर्ष भी 01 फरवरी 2026 को वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने अपना लगातार नौवां बजट पेश करते हुए कहा कि, यह बजट ‘विकसित भारत @2047’ की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम है. परन्तु, आम-आवाम के सपनों को जिस राहत की उम्मीद थी, वह निर्मल धारा में बहती हुई प्रतीत होती है. जहाँ एक ओर पूंजीगत निवेश और बुनियादी ढांचे पर ज़ोर है वहीँ, रोज़मर्रा की ज़िंदगी से जुड़ी कर-राहत व महँगाई से राहत भी  सीमित ही रहीं.

 वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने आज के दिन नौवीं बार बजट पेश किया. वित्त मंत्री ने 12.2 लाख करोड़ का पूंजीगत व्यय घोषित करते हुए कहा कि, यह अबतक का सबसे बड़ा बजट है. सरकार ने इसे ‘विकसित भारत’ की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम बताया वहीँ, जनता की अपेक्षाएं जैसे- महंगाई से राहत, करों में छूट और रोजगार की गारंटी… ये सब निर्मल धारा में बह गई.

आम-आवाम को बजट का इन्तजार होता है कई सपने बुने जाते है वो अक्सर ही टूट जाते हैं. इस वर्ष के बजट में महँगाई से सीधी राहत देने वाले उपाय कम हैं वहीँ, खाद्य पदार्थों और ईंधन की कीमतों पर कोई ठोस नियंत्रण की कोई योजना भी नहीं है. एक तरफ जहाँ मध्यम वर्ग को आयकर में बड़ी छूट की उम्मीद थी लेकिन, निर्मल धारा ने राहत तक ही सीमित रखा.

ग्रामीण सड़क और बिजली की परियोजनाएं घोषित तो हुई लेकिन, न्यूतम समर्थन मूल्य पर कोई एलान नहीं हुआ. एक तरफ न्यूतम समर्थन मूल्य और विनिर्माण क्षेत्र को प्रोत्साहन देने से रोजगार बढ़ने की उम्मीद है परन्तु, हद तो तब हो गई जनाब जब निर्मल धारा ने तत्काल नौकरी की कोई गारंटी नहीं ली.

यह बजट भी निर्मल धारा की तरह ही  है जहाँ इस धारा में आम-आवाम के सपने बहते हुए दिखाई दे रहें है.वहीँ, आम आवाम की सिसकियाँ भी…निर्मल धारा के सपनों से छोटी है. जहाँ, एक तरफ किसानों को बेहतर दाम की उम्मीद थी वहीँ मध्यम वर्ग को कर-राहत की आस थी और बेरोजगारों को नौकरी की गारंटी… लेकिन, निर्मल धारा के सपनों के आगे सब वेबस…साथ ही भारत सरकार के सपनों का भारत.

निर्मल धारा के आँगन में शब्दों के मोती पिरोकर वादों और घोषणाओं की गूंज उठी. तालियों की गड़गड़ाहट में आम-आवाम के सपने चूर हुए. सपनों की दुनिया में महंगाई मार गई. निर्मल धारा की पारदर्शी, अनुशासित और विकासमुखी बजट ने बेबस आवाम की थाली में आंसुओं की बाढ़ में सपने भी बह गए…

In the flood of tears, even dreams were swept away…

As every year, on February 1, 2026, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented her ninth consecutive budget, stating that it was a major step towards ‘Developed India @2047’. However, the relief that the common people had hoped for seems to have been washed away in a gentle stream. While there is an emphasis on capital investment and infrastructure, tax relief and relief from inflation, which are crucial for everyday life, remained limited.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget for the ninth time today. The Finance Minister announced a capital expenditure of ₹12.2 lakh crore, stating that it is the largest budget to date. The government called it a significant step towards ‘Developed India’, but the public’s expectations – relief from inflation, tax breaks, and job guarantees – were all swept away in a gentle stream.

The common people await the budget with many hopes, but these hopes are often dashed. This year’s budget has few measures to provide direct relief from inflation, and there is no concrete plan to control the prices of food items and fuel. While the middle class expected significant income tax relief, the gentle stream limited it to only marginal relief.

Rural road and electricity projects were announced, but there was no announcement regarding minimum support price (MSP). While there is hope that increasing the minimum support price and providing incentives to the manufacturing sector will increase employment, the most disappointing aspect is that the gentle stream did not offer any immediate job guarantees.

This budget is also like a gentle stream, where the dreams of the common people are seen flowing away.  The sighs of the common people are also smaller than the dreams of this gentle stream. While farmers hoped for better prices, the middle class hoped for tax relief, and the unemployed hoped for job guarantees… but everything is helpless before the dreams of this gentle stream… and the dreams of the Government of India. In the courtyard of the pristine stream, words were strung together like pearls, and the echoes of promises and declarations resounded. Amidst the thunderous applause, the dreams of the common people were shattered. Inflation crushed their hopes in this world of dreams. The transparent, disciplined, and development-oriented budget of the pristine stream washed away the dreams of the helpless masses in a flood of tears…
