नवरात्रा के नौवें दिन माँ सिद्धिधात्री या यूँ कहें कि, समस्त सिद्धियों का प्रदान करने वाली माता हैं, इसीलिए सिद्धिदात्री कहलाती हैं. देव, यक्ष, किन्नर, दानव, ऋषि-मुनि, साधक, विप्र और संसारी जन सिद्धिदात्री की पूजा नवरात्र के नवें दिन करके अपनी जीवन में यश, बल और धन की प्राप्ति करते हैं. सिद्धिदात्री जो को देवी सरस्वती का स्वरूप भी माना जाता हैं, माँ के श्वेत वस्त्रालंकार से युक्त महाज्ञान और उनका मधुर स्वर से अपने भक्तों को सम्मोहित करती हैं और सिद्धिदात्री की कृपा से मनुष्य सभी प्रकार की सिद्धिया प्राप्त कर मोक्ष पाने मे सफल हो जाता है.
मार्कण्डेयपुराण के अनुसार अणिमा, महिमा, गरिमा, लघिमा, प्राप्ति, प्राकाम्य, ईशित्व एवं वशित्वये आठ सिद्धियाँ बतलायी गयी है. मार्कण्डेय पुराण के अनुसार भगवान शिव की कृपा से माता को सिध्दियां मिली थी, और अर्धनारीश्वर रूप प्राप्त हुआ था. अणिमा, महिमा,गरिमा, लघिमा, प्राप्ति, प्राकाम्य, ईशित्व और वशित्व ये आठ सिद्धियां हैं.इसके अलावा ब्रह्ववैवर्त पुराण के अनुसार सर्वकामावसायिता, सर्वज्ञत्व, दूरश्रवण, परकायप्रवेशन, वाक्सिद्धि, कल्पवृक्षत्व, सृष्टि, संहारकरणसामर्थ्य, अमरत्व, सर्वन्यायकत्व. कुल मिलाकर 18 प्रकार की सिद्धियों का उल्लेख हमारे शास्त्रों में मिलता है. माता सिद्धिदात्री इन सभी सिद्धियों की स्वामिनी हैं और इनकी पूजा से साधकों को ये सिद्धियां प्राप्त होती हैं. माता सिद्धिदात्री की चार भुजाएं हैं, और इनका वाहन सिंह है, ये कमल पुष्प पर आसीन हैं. माँ के हाथों में चक्र, गदा, शंख और कमलपुष्प है.

वन्दे वांछित मनोरथार्थ चन्द्रार्घकृत शेखराम् ।
कमलस्थितां चतुर्भुजा सिद्धीदात्री यशस्वनीम् ॥
पूजा के नियम: –
माँ सिद्धिधात्री की उपासना करते समय पीले या लाल रंग के वस्त्र पहने और माँ को लाल-पीले, उजले व नील फूलों से चंदन, अक्षत, दूध, दही, शक्कर, फल, पंचमेवे और पंचामृत अर्पित करें. माता के समक्ष शुद्ध घी का दीपक जलाएं तथा धूप अगरबत्ती भी जलाएं और इत्र चढ़ाएं, माँ सिद्धिधात्री के स्वरूप-विग्रह को अपने हृदय में अवस्थित करते हुए, उनके मन्त्रों का जाप करें.

On the ninth day of Navratri, Ma Siddhidhatri, or rather, she is the mother who bestows all siddhis; that is why she is called Siddhidhatri. Devs, Yakshas, Kinnars, Demons, Rishis, Sadhaks, Vipras, and worldly people worship Siddhidatri on the ninth day of Navratri to attain fame, power, and wealth in their lives. Siddhidatri, who is also considered to be the form of Goddess Saraswati, hypnotizes her devotees with her great knowledge and her sweet voice, adorned with her mother’s white clothes and with the grace of Siddhidatri, man becomes successful in attaining salvation by attaining all kinds of Siddhis.
According to the Markandeya Purana, eight Siddhis have been described as Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakamya, Ishitva, and Vashitva. According to the Markandeya Purana, by the grace of Lord Shiva, the mother got powers and got the form of Ardhanarishwar. Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakaamya, Ishitva, and Vashitva are the eight Siddhis. Apart from this, according to Brahmavaivarta Purana, omnipotence, omniscience, telehearing, parakaypraveshan, vaksiddhi, Kalpavrikshatva, creation, ability to destroy, immortality, omniscient justice. Altogether 18 types of siddhis are mentioned in our scriptures. Mata Siddhidatri is the owner of all these Siddhis, and by worshiping her, the devotees attain these Siddhis. Mata Siddhidatri has four arms, and her vehicle is a lion; she is seated on a lotus flower. Mother has a chakra, mace, conch, and lotus flower in her hands.

Worship Guidelines: –
While worshipping Ma Siddhidatri, one should wear yellow or red attire. Offerings to the Mother should include red, yellow, white, and blue flowers, along with sandalwood paste, Akshat (unbroken rice grains), milk, yogurt, sugar, fruits, Panchmeva (five types of dry fruits), and Panchamrit (a sacred nectar). Light a lamp filled with pure ghee before the Mother; also light incense sticks and offer perfume. While visualizing the divine form of Ma Siddhidatri enshrined within your heart, chant her sacred mantras.
