II ॐ ह्रीं श्रीं क्लीं ऐं भुवनेश्वर्यै नमः II
दस महाविद्याओं में चौथी महाविद्या हैं मां भुवनेश्वरी जिन्हें जगत की अधीश्वरी और संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड की स्वामिनी माना जाता है. ‘भुवनेश्वरी’ शब्द का अर्थ है ‘भुवन’ (संसार, ब्रह्मांड) और ‘ईश्वरी’ (देवी, शासक), जिसका शाब्दिक अर्थ है “संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड की स्वामिनी”. वे सृष्टि, स्थिति और संहार की शक्ति का प्रतिनिधित्व करती हैं और स्वयं परब्रह्म का स्वरूप मानी जाती हैं. मां भुवनेश्वरी को जगद्धात्री भी कहा जाता है, जिसका अर्थ है “जगत को धारण करने वाली”. वे त्रिदेवों (ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, महेश) की भी जननी मानी जाती हैं, क्योंकि उन्हीं की शक्ति से ये तीनों देवता अपने-अपने कार्यों का संपादन करते हैं.
मां भुवनेश्वरी का स्वरूप अत्यंत तेजोमय और मनोहारी है. वे कमल के आसन पर बैठी हुई हैं और उनके चार हाथ हैं. इन हाथों में वे सामान्यतः अंकुश (नियंत्रण और मार्गदर्शन का प्रतीक), पाश (मोह और बंधन को काटने का प्रतीक), वरद मुद्रा (आशीर्वाद और वरदान देने का प्रतीक) और अभय मुद्रा (भय मुक्ति और सुरक्षा का प्रतीक) धारण करती हैं. उनका वर्ण लालिमा लिए होता है, जो शक्ति, प्रेम और सृजन का प्रतीक है. उनके मस्तक पर अर्धचंद्र सुशोभित होता है और वे त्रिनेत्री हैं. जो भूत, वर्तमान और भविष्य को देखने की क्षमता को दर्शाता है.
मां भुवनेश्वरी की उपासना विशेष रूप से तांत्रिक और शाक्त परंपराओं में की जाती है, हालांकि वे सभी भक्तों के लिए सुलभ हैं. उनकी पूजा से ग्रहों के दोष शांत होते हैं और शत्रु बाधाओं से मुक्ति मिलती है. उनकी उपासना से साधक को भौतिक सुख-समृद्धि, आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान और मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है. भुवनेश्वरी साधना से व्यक्ति में आत्मविश्वास, नेतृत्व क्षमता और रचनात्मकता का विकास होता है. उन्हें वाणी की देवी भी माना जाता है, इसलिए उनकी उपासना से वाणी में मधुरता और प्रभावशीलता आती है.

मां भुवनेश्वरी केवल एक देवी नहीं, बल्कि वे समग्र ब्रह्मांड की ऊर्जा और चेतना का प्रतीक हैं. वे हमें यह सिखाती हैं कि सच्चा ऐश्वर्य बाहरी वैभव में नहीं, बल्कि आत्मा की दिव्यता में है.

Among the ten Mahavidyas, the fourth Mahavidya is Maa Bhuvaneshwari, who is considered to be the presiding deity of the world and the mistress of the entire universe. The word ‘Bhuvaneshwari’ means ‘Bhuvan’ (world, universe) and ‘Ishwari’ (goddess, ruler), which means “mistress of the entire universe”. She represents the power of creation, preservation and destruction and is considered to be the form of Parabrahma himself. Maa Bhuvaneshwari is also called Jagaddhatri, which means “one who holds the world”. She is also considered to be the mother of the Tridevas (Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh), because it is with her power that these three gods perform their respective tasks.
The form of Maa Bhuvaneshwari is extremely radiant and charming. She is sitting on a lotus seat and has four hands. In these hands, she usually holds Ankush (symbol of control and guidance), Paash (symbol of cutting attachment and bondage), Varada Mudra (symbol of blessing and boon) and Abhaya Mudra (symbol of freedom from fear and protection). Her complexion is reddish, which is a symbol of power, love and creation. A half-moon adorns her forehead, and she is three-eyed. Which indicates the ability to see the past, present and future.
Maa Bhuvaneshwari is worshipped especially in the Tantric and Shakta traditions, although she is accessible to all devotees. Her worship pacifies the defects of the planets and liberates one from enemy obstacles. By worshipping her, the seeker attains material happiness, spiritual knowledge and salvation. Bhuvaneshwari Sadhna develops self-confidence, leadership ability and creativity in a person. She is also considered the goddess of speech, so her worship brings sweetness and effectiveness in speech.

Maa Bhuvaneshwari is not just a goddess, but she is the symbol of the energy and consciousness of the entire universe. She teaches us that true wealth lies not in external splendour, but in the divinity of the soul.
