- बीरंगना रानी दुर्गावती: – आज के दिन वर्ष 1524 में महारानी दुर्गावती का जन्म बाँदा, उत्तरप्रदेश के कालिंजर के राजा कीर्ति सिंह चंदेल के घर हुआ था. रानी दुर्गावती का विवाह राजा संग्राम शाह के पुत्र राजा दलपत शाह से हुआ था. राजा दलपत शाह के असमय निधन के बाद रानी दुर्गावती ने गढ़मंडला का शासन सम्भाला. उन्होंने अपने शासन कल में अनको मंदिर, मठ, बावड़ी और धर्मशाला बनवाई. रानी दुर्गावती ने अनको बार मुस्लिम आक्रमणकारियों को अनको बार धुल चटाई थी. आइना – ए – अकबरी में अब्दुल फजल ने लिखा है कि दुर्गावती के शासनकाल में गोंडवाना की ब्यवस्था काफी समृद्ध थी.
- ब्रिटिश राज्य के दुसरे गवर्नर जनरल कार्नवालिस: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1805 में भारत में ब्रिटिश राज्य के दुसरे गवर्नर जनरल व कमांडर इन चीफ लार्ड कार्नवालिस का निधन गाजीपुर में हुआ था.
- 50000 लोगो की मौत: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1864 में कलकता शहर में भीषण चक्रवात से लगभाग 50,000 लोगो की मौत हुई थी.
- पहली महिला जज एम फातिमा बीबी: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1989 में सुप्रीम कोर्ट की पहली महिला जज न्यायमूर्ति मीरा शाहीब फातिमा बीबी बनी थी. बताते चले की राजीव गाँधी सरकार द्वारा फातिमा बीबी को सुप्रीम कोर्ट का जज बनाया गया था.

- गायक राम चतुर मल्लिक: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1902 में ध्रुपद –धमार शैली के गायक राम चतुर मल्लिक का जन्म चमथा गाँव (दरभंगा) में हुआ था उनके पिता का नाम पंडित राजित राम था जो दरभंगा महाराज के दरबार में संगीतज्ञ थे राम चतुर ने अपने चाचा क्षितिजपाल से प्रारंभिक शिक्षा ली थी बाद में रामेश्वर पाठक से सितार वादन की शिक्षा ली. वर्ष 1949 में मल्लिक को आकाशवाणी के प्रथम श्रेणी के विशिष्ट कलाकार के रूप में सम्मानित किया गया था.
- राजनितज्ञ कैलाशपति मिश्रा: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष1923 में कैलाशपति मिश्रा का जन्म बक्सर में हुआ था मिश्रा वर्ष 1977 में बिहार के वित्तमंत्री भी रहे थे.
- भूतपूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हितेस्वर सैकिया: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1934 में भूतपूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हितेस्वर सैकिया का जन्म शिवसागर में हुआ था. सैकिया दो बार असम के मुख्यमंत्री रहे थे.

- पार्श्व गायिका ऐश्वर्या मजूमदार : – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1993 में पार्श्व गायिका ऐश्वर्या मजूमदार का जन्म अहमदाबाद, गुजरात के संगीत जगत से जुड़े परिवार में हुआ था. उनकी प्रारम्भिक शिक्षा दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल अहमदाबाद से पूरी की. ऐश्वर्या ने महज तीन वर्ष की उम्र में ही शास्त्रीय संगीत सीखना शुरू कर दिया था. करीब सात (07) वर्ष की उम्र में उन्होंने पहली बार जी सारेगामापा में बतौर प्रतिभागी हिस्सा लिया था. ऐश्वर्या मजूमदार ने अपने पार्श्व गायिकी के कैरियर की शुरुआत गुजरती फिल्म घर मारो मंदिर से की थी. उनका पहला बॉलीवुड डेब्यू सोंग फिल्म हरीपुत्तर का टाइटल ट्रैक था.
