राजकीयकृत +2 उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय ओकरी (जहानाबाद ) में पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष दिवस का आयोजन किया गया. इस अवसर पर विद्यालय के प्रभारी प्रधानाध्यापक नवीन कुमार एवं पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष संजय कुमार ने एस. आर.रंगनाथन की तस्वीर पर माल्यार्पण किया.
पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष संजय कुमार ने बच्चों को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि, भारत देश के पहले पुस्तकालाध्यक्ष एस. आर.रंगनाथन हैं. रंगनाथन का जन्म 12 अगस्त 1892 को शियाली, मद्रास (वर्तमान चेन्नई) में हुआ था. इन्ही के जन्मदिवस के अवसर पर राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालयध्यक्ष दिवस मनाया जाता है. वहीँ, प्रभारी प्रधानाध्यापक ने कहा कि, शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अपने सामर्थ्य और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ छात्रों के लिए एक सक्षम और सुरक्षित पुस्तकालय संचालित कर रहे है. उन्होंने कहा कि, राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालयध्यक्ष दिवस का मुख्य उद्देश्य यह है कि, छात्रों को ज्ञान व सूचना में वृद्धि देने के साथ-साथ पुस्तकों के प्रति उनकी रुचि और जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देना.
इस अवसर पर विद्यालय के छात्र, शिक्षक, सहयोगी कर्मचारी सहित विद्यालय प्रबंध समिति के सदस्य भी मौजूद थे.

National Librarian Day…
Librarian’s Day was organized in Government +2 Higher Secondary School, Okri (Jehanabad). On this occasion, the Principal in charge of the school Naveen Kumar, and Librarian Sanjay Kumar S. Garlanded the photo of R. Ranganathan.
Librarian Sanjay Kumar while addressing the children said that India’s first librarian S. R. Ranganathan is. Ranganathan was born on 12 August 1892 in Shiyali, Madras (present-day Chennai). National Librarian’s Day is celebrated on the occasion of his birthday. At the same time, the in-charge headmaster said that with his ability and commitment to the field of education, he is running an efficient and safe library for the students. He said that the main objective of National Librarian’s Day is to increase students’ knowledge and information as well as to promote their interest in and awareness of books.
On this occasion, the members of the school management committee along with the students, teachers, and support staff of the school were also present.
