Raising Day of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
The foundation day of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is celebrated every year on 10 March. CISF was established in 1969, its main objective is to protect the important industrial sites of India.
The force specializes in the security of various industrial establishments, government buildings, airports, metro rail stations and strategic sites. On Raising Day, CISF members organize various programs and ceremonies to celebrate the achievements of their forces and remember their sacrifices.
