दोहा :-
कपि कें ममता पूँछ पर सबहि कहउँ समुझाइ।
तेल बोरि पट बाँधि पुनि पावक देहु लगाइ ।।
वाल्व्याससुमनजीमहाराज श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए कहते है कि, मै सबको समझाकर कहता हूँ कि बंदर की ममता पूँछ पर होती है. अतः तेल में कपड़ा डुबोकर उसे उसकी पूँछ मे बाँधकर फिर आग लगा दो.
चौपाई :-
पूँछहीन बानर तहँ जाइहि। तब सठ निज नाथहि लइ आइहि।।
जिन्ह कै कीन्हसि बहुत बड़ाई। देखेउँ मैं तिन्ह कै प्रभुताई ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराजजी कहते है कि, जब बिना पूँछ का यह बंदर अपने स्वामी के पास जाएगा, तब यह मूर्ख अपने मालिक को साथ ले आएगा. जिसकी इसने बहुत बड़ाई होगी, मै भी तो जरा उनकी प्रभुता को देखूँ !
बचन सुनत कपि मन मुसुकाना। भइ सहाय सारद मैं जाना।।
जातुधान सुनि रावन बचना। लागे रचैं मूढ़ सोइ रचना ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराजजी कहते है कि, यह वचन सुनते ही हनुमानजी मन में हीं मुस्कुराए मैं जान गया, सरस्वती जो सहायक हुई है. रावण के वचन सुनकर मूर्ख राक्षस वही तैयारी करने लगे.
रहा न नगर बसन घृत तेला। बाढ़ी पूँछ कीन्ह कपि खेला।।
कौतुक कहँ आए पुरबासी। मारहिं चरन करहिं बहु हाँसी ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराजजी कहते है कि, हनुमानजी के पूँछ को लपेटने में इतना घी-तेल और कपडा लगा कि नगर में कपड़ा, घी और तेल समाप्त हो गया. महावीर ने ऐसा खेल किया कि पूँछ लम्बी हो गई. जिसे देखने के लिए नगरवासी के लोग आए और वे हनुमानजी को पैर से ठोकर मारते हुये उनकी हँसी करते है.
बाजहिं ढोल देहिं सब तारी। नगर फेरि पुनि पूँछ प्रजारी।।
पावक जरत देखि हनुमंता। भयउ परम लघु रुप तुरंता ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराजजी कहते है कि, ढोल बजाते और ताली पीटते हुए हनुमानजी को नगर में घुमा-फिराकर, फिर पूँछ में आग लगा दी. अग्नि को जलते हुए देखकर हनुमानजी तुरन्त ही बहुत छोटे रूप में हो गए.
निबुकि चढ़ेउ कपि कनक अटारीं। भई सभीत निसाचर नारीं ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराजजी कहते है कि, और बंधन से निकलकर वे सोने की अटारियो पर जा चढ़े. जिसे देखकर राक्षसो की स्त्रियाँ भयभीत हो गई.

Bachan sunat kapi man musukaana। bhi sahaay saarad main jaana।।
jaatudhaan suni raavan bachana। laage rachain moodh soi Rachana ।।
Explaining the meaning of the verse, Maharajji says that, on hearing these words, Hanumanji smiled in his mind, I knew Saraswati who has been helpful. After listening to Ravana’s words, the foolish demons started making the same preparations.
Raha na nagar basan ghrt tela। baadhee poonchh keenh kapi khela।।
kautuk kahan aae purabaasee। maarahin charan karahin bahu haansee ।।
Describing the meaning of the verse, Maharajji says that so much ghee oil and cloth were used to wrap the tail of Hanumanji that cloth, ghee, and oil ran out in the city. Mahavir played such a game that the tail became long. To see whom the people of the city came and they laugh at Hanumanji while kicking him.
Baajahin dhol dehin sab taaree। nagar pheri puni poonchh prajaaree।।
paavak jarat dekhi hanumanta। bhayu param laghu rup turanta ।।
Explaining the meaning of the verse, Maharajji says that Hanumanji was taken around the city while playing drums and clapping and then set his tail on fire. Seeing the fire burning, Hanumanji immediately became very small.
Nibuki chadheu kapi kanak ataareen। bhee sabheet nisaachar naareen ।।
Explaining the meaning of the verse, Maharajji says that, coming out of bondage, he went to the golden attic. Seeing whom the women of the demons got scared.
