वालव्याससुमनजी महाराज ने अपने प्रवचन के दौरान कलियुग की चर्चा की, और कहा कि सतयुग में शिव, त्रेता में राम, द्वापर में श्रीकृष्ण और कलिकाल में भगवान बुद्ध हिन्दू धर्म के केंद्र में हैं, लेकिन श्रीकृष्ण के धर्म को भूत, वर्तमान और भविष्य का धर्म बताया गया है. श्रीकृष्ण का जीवन ही हर तरह से शिक्षा देने वाला है. महाभारत और गीता विश्व की अनुपम कृति है. महाभारत हिन्दुओं का ही नहीं, समस्त मानव जाति का ग्रंथ है. इससे प्रत्येक मानव को एक अच्छी शिक्षा और मार्ग मिल सकता है. महाभारत में जीवन से जुड़ा ऐसा कोई सा भी विषय नहीं है जिसका वर्णन न किया गया हो और जिसमें जीवन का कोई समाधान न होगा. महाभारत में देश, धर्म, न्याय, राजनीति, समाज, योग, युद्ध, परिवार, ज्ञान, विज्ञान, अध्यात्म, तकनीकी आदि समस्य विषयों का वर्णन तो मिलता ही है साथ ही वर्तमान युग में महाभारत के प्रसंग से कुछ सीख ले सकता है. पांचों पांडवों को वनवास हो गया था. वनवास जाने से पूर्व पांडवों ने भगवान श्रीकृष्ण से कहा- ‘हे श्रीकृष्ण! अभी यह द्वापर का अंतकाल चल रहा है. आप हमें बताइए कि आने वाले कलियुग में कलिकाल की चाल या गति क्या होगी कैसी होगी?’ श्रीकृष्ण कहते हैं- ‘तुम पांचों भाई वन में जाओ और जो कुछ भी दिखे वह आकर मुझे बताओ. मैं तुम्हें उसका प्रभाव बताऊंगा, ‘पांचों भाई वन में चले गए. वन में उन्होंने जो देखा उसको देखकर वे आश्चर्यचकित रह गए.
युधिष्ठिर ने देखा :- पांचों भाई जब वन में रहने लगे तो एक बार चारों भाई अलग-अलग दिशाओं में वन भ्रमण को निकले. युधिष्ठिर भ्रमण पर थे तो उन्होंने एक जगह पर देखा कि किसी हाथी के दो सूंड है. यह देखकर युधिष्ठिर के आश्चर्य का ठिकाना नहीं रहा.
अर्जुन ने देखा :- अर्जुन दूसरी दिशा में भ्रमण पर थे. कुछ दूर जंगल में जाने पर उन्होंने जो देखा उसे देखकर वे आश्चर्य में पड़ गए. उन्होंने देखा कि कोई पक्षी है, उसके पंखों पर वेद की ऋचाएं लिखी हुई हैं, पर वह पक्षी मुर्दे का मांस खा रहा है.
भीम ने देखा :- दोनों भाइयों की तरह भीम भी भ्रमण पर थे, भीम ने जो देखा वह भी आश्चर्यजनक था. उन्होंने देखा कि गाय ने बछड़े को जन्म दिया है, जन्म के बाद वह बछड़े को इतना चाट रही है कि बछड़ा लहुलुहान हो गया.
सहदेव ने देखा :- सहदेव जब भ्रमण पर थे तो उन्होंने चौथा आश्चर्य देखा कि 6-7 कुएं हैं और आसपास के कुओं में पानी है किंतु बीच का कुआं खाली है, बीच का कुआं गहरा है फिर भी पानी नहीं है. उन्हें यह देखकर घोर आश्चर्य हुआ कि ऐसा कैसे हो सकता है.
नकुल ने देखा : नकुल भी भ्रमण पर थे और उन्होंने भी एक आश्चर्यजनक घटना देखी. नकुल ने देखा कि एक पहाड़ के ऊपर से एक बड़ी-सी शिला लुढ़कती हुई आती है और कितने ही वृक्षों से टकराकर उनको नीचे गिराते हुए आगे बढ़ जाती है, विशालकाय वृक्षों भी उसे रोक न सके. इसके अलावा वह शिला कितनी ही अन्य शिलाओं के साथ टकराई पर फिर भी वह रुकी नहीं, अंत में एक अत्यंत छोटे पौधे का स्पर्श होते ही वह स्थिर हो गई.
पांचों भाइयों ने अपने देखे गए दृश्य की चर्चा की और शाम को श्रीकृष्ण को अपने अनुभव सुनाए. सबसे पहले युधिष्ठिर ने कहा कि मैंने तो पहली बार दो सूंड वाला हाथी देखा, यह मेरे लिए बहुत ही आश्चर्यजनक था. तब श्रीकृष्ण कहते हैं- ‘हे धर्मराज! अब तुम कलिकाल की सुनो, कलियुग में ऐसे लोगों का राज्य होगा, जो दोनों ओर से शोषण करेंगे, बोलेंगे कुछ और करेंगे कुछ, मन में कुछ और कर्म में कुछ, ऐसे ही लोगों का राज्य होगा, इससे तुम पहले राज्य कर लो।’
युधिष्ठिर के बाद अर्जुन ने कहा कि मैंने जो देखा वह तो इससे भी कहीं ज्यादा आश्चर्यजनक था, मैंने देखा कि एक पक्षी के पंखों पर वेद की ऋचाएं लिखी हुई हैं और वह पक्षी मुर्दे का मांस खा रहा है.
श्रीकृष्ण कहते हैं- ‘इसी प्रकार कलियुग में ऐसे लोग रहेंगे, जो बड़े ज्ञानी और ध्यानी कहलाएंगे. वे ज्ञान की चर्चा तो करेंगे, लेकिन उनके आचरण राक्षसी होंगे. बड़े पंडित और विद्वान कहलाएंगे किंतु वे यही देखते रहेंगे कि कौन-सा मनुष्य मरे और हमारे नाम से संपत्ति कर जाए.’ ‘हे अर्जुन! ‘संस्था’ के व्यक्ति विचारेंगे कि कौन-सा मनुष्य मरे और संस्था हमारे नाम से हो जाए. हर जाति धर्म के प्रमुख पद पर बैठे विचार करेंगे कि कब किसका श्राद्ध हो, कौन, कब, किस पद से हटे और हम उस पर चढ़े. चाहे कितने भी बड़े लोग होंगे किंतु उनकी दृष्टि तो धन और पद के बाद (मांस के ऊपर) ही रहेगी. ऐसे लोगों की बहुतायत होगी, कोई कोई विरला ही संत पुरुष होगा. अर्जुन के सवाल के जवाब के बाद भीम ने भी अपना अनुभव सुनाया. भीम ने कहा कि मैंने देखा कि गाय अपने बछड़े को इतना चाटती है कि बछड़ा लहुलुहान हो जाता है.
श्रीकृष्ण कहते हैं– कलियुग का मनुष्य शिशुपाल हो जाएगा. कलियुग में बालकों को अत्यधिक ममता के कारण उन्हें अपने विकास का अवसर ही नहीं मिलेगा. मोह-माया में ही घर बर्बाद हो जाएगा. किसी का बेटा घर छोड़कर साधु बनेगा तो हजारों व्यक्ति दर्शन करेंगे, किंतु यदि अपना बेटा साधु बनेगा तो रोएंगे कि मेरे बेटे का क्या होगा ? इतनी सारी ममता होगी कि उसे मोह-माया और परिवार में ही बांधकर रखेंगे और उसका जीवन वहीं खत्म हो जाएगा. अंत में बेचारा अनाथ होकर मरेगा. वास्तव में ये लड़के तुम्हारे नहीं हैं, वे तो बहुओं की अमानत हैं, लड़कियां जमाइयों की अमानत हैं और तुम्हारा यह शरीर मृत्यु की अमानत है. तुम्हारी आत्मा, परमात्मा की अमानत है. तुम अपने शाश्वत संबंध को जान लो बस.
भीम के बाद सहदेव ने पूछा- ‘हे श्रीकृष्ण! मैंने जो देखा उसका क्या मतलब है? मैंने यह देखा कि 5-7 भरे कुओं के बीच का कुआं एकदम खाली है, जबकि ऐसा कैसे संभव हो सकता है.
श्रीकृष्ण कहते हैं- ‘कलियुग में धनाढ्य लोग लड़के-लड़की के विवाह में, मकान के उत्सव में, छोटे-बड़े उत्सवों में तो लाखों रुपए खर्च कर देंगे, परंतु पड़ोस में ही यदि कोई भूखा-प्यासा होगा तो यह भी नहीं देखेंगे कि उसका पेट भरा है या नहीं. उनका अपना ही सगा भूख से मर जाएगा और वे देखते रहेंगे. दूसरी और मौज, मदिरा, मांस-भक्षण, सुंदरता और व्यसन में पैसे उड़ा देंगे किंतु किसी के दो आंसू पोंछने में उनकी रुचि नहीं होगी. कहने का तात्पर्य यह है कि कलियुग में अन्न के भंडार होंगे लेकिन लोग भूख से ही मरेंगे. सामने महलों, बंगलों में एशोआराम चल रहे होंगे लेकिन पास की झोपड़ी में आदमी भूख से मर जाएगा. एक ही जगह पर असमानता अपने चरम सीमा पर होगी.
सहदेव के बाद नकुल ने श्रीकृष्ण को बताया कि मैंने भी एक आश्चर्य देखा है कि एक बड़ी सी चट्टान पहाड़ पर से लुढ़की, वृक्षों के तने और चट्टानें भी उसे रोक न पाए किंतु एक छोटे से पौधे से टकराते ही वह चट्टान रुक गई.
श्रीकृष्ण ने कहा- ‘कलियुग में मानव का मन नीचे गिरेगा, उसका जीवन पतित होगा. यह पतित जीवन धन की शिलाओं से नहीं रुकेगा, न ही सत्ता के वृक्षों से रुकेगा. किंतु हरि नाम के एक छोटे से पौधे से, हरि कीर्तन के एक छोटे से पौधे से मनुष्य जीवन का पतन होना रुक जाएगा. श्रीमन नारायण, नारायण हरि हरि.

Valvyassumanji Maharaj discussed Kaliyuga during his discourse and said that Shiva in Satyuga, Treta Mansa Rama, Sri Krishna in Dwapar, and Lord Buddha in Kalikal are at the center of Hindu religion, but Sri Krishna’s religion is the religion of the past, present and future. It has been told. The life of Shri Krishna is instructive in every way. Mahabharata and Geeta are unique creations of Vishwar. Mahabharata is not only a book of Hindus, it is a book of all mankind. With this, every human being can get a good education and path. There is no such topic related to life in Mahabharata which has not been described and in which there will be no solution for life. In Mahabharata, there is a description of problems like country, religion, justice, politics, society, yoga, war, family, knowledge, science, spirituality, technology, etc. In addition, in the present era, something can be learned from the context of Mahabharata. The five Pandavas had gone into exile. Before going to exile, the Pandavas said to Lord Krishna – ‘O Shri Krishna! Now the end of this Dwaparam is going on. You tell us what will be the movement or speed of Kalikal in the coming Kali Yuga?’ Shri Krishna says- ‘You five brothers go to the forest and come and tell me whatever you see. I will tell you its effect, ‘The five brothers went to the forest. They were surprised to see what they saw in the forest.
Yudhishthira saw: – When the five brothers started living in the forest, once all four brothers went on a forest tour in different directions. When Yudhishthira was on a tour, he saw one place where an elephant had two trunks. Yudhishthira’s surprise knew no bounds after seeing this.
Arjuna saw: – Arjuna was traveling in the other direction. They were surprised to see what they saw when they went some distance into the forest. He saw that there is a bird, the hymns of the Vedas are written on its wings, but that bird is eating the flesh of a dead person.
Bhima saw: – Like both the brothers, Bhima was also on a tour, and what Bhima saw was also surprising. He saw that the cow has given birth to a calf, after birth, she is licking the calf so much that the calf bleeds.
Sahdev saw: – When Sahdev was on tour, he saw the fourth wonder that there are 6-7 wells and there is water in the surrounding wells but the middle well is empty, the middle well is deep yet there is no water. He was very surprised to see how this could happen.
Nakul saw: – Nakul was also on tour and he also saw a surprising incident. Nakula saw that a big rock comes rolling down from the top of a mountain and collides with many trees and knocks them down and moves forward, even the giant trees could not stop it. Apart from this, that rock collided with many other rocks but still, it did not stop, at the end, it became stable as soon as it touched a very small plant.
The five brothers discussed the scene they had seen and narrated their experiences to Shri Krishna in the evening. First of all, Yudhishthir said that for the first time, she saw an elephant with two trunks, it was very surprising to me. Then Shri Krishna says – ‘O Dharmaraj! Now listen to Kalikal, in Kaliyug such people will rule, who will exploit from both sides, say one thing and do another, something in mind and something in action, such people will rule, before that you rule.’
After Yudhishthira, Arjuna said that what I saw was even more surprising, I saw that the hymns of the Vedas were written on the wings of a bird and that bird was eating the flesh of a dead person.
Shri Krishna says- ‘Similarly, such people will remain in Kali Yuga, and will be called very knowledgeable and meditative. They will talk about knowledge, but their behavior will be demonic. They will be called great pundits and scholars, but they will keep watching which person should die and get property in our name. ‘O Arjun! The people of the ‘Sanstha’ will think about which person should die and the institution should be named after us. Sitting on the head of every caste and religion, we will think about when Shradh should be performed, who, when should move from which position and we should ascend to that position. No matter how big people may be, their vision will remain only after money and position (above flesh). There will be an abundance of such people, there will be very few saints. After answering Arjuna’s question, Bhima also narrated his experience. Bhim said I saw that the cow licks its calf so much that the calf bleeds.
Shri Krishna says – the man of Kaliyug will become Shishupala. In Kaliyuga, due to excessive love for children, they will not get the opportunity for their development. The house will be ruined in illusion. If someone’s son leaves home and becomes a monk, thousands of people will visit him, but if his own son becomes a monk, then they will cry what will happen to my son? There will be so much affection that he will be tied up in love and family and his life will end there. In the end, the poor man will die as an orphan. In reality, these boys are not yours, they are the trust of daughters-in-law, girls are the trust of sons-in-law and this body of yours is the trust of death. Your soul is the trust of God. You just know your eternal relationship.
After Bhima, Sahdev asked – ‘O Shri Krishna! What is the meaning of what I saw? I saw that the well in the middle of 5-7 filled wells is completely empty, whereas how can this be possible?
Shri Krishna says- ‘In Kaliyuga, rich people will spend lakhs of rupees in the marriage of a boy and a girl, in the celebration of the house, in small and big festivals, but if someone is hungry and thirsty in the neighborhood, they will not even see that their Stomach is full or not. Their own relatives will die of hunger and they will keep watching. On the other hand, they will spend money on pleasure, alcohol, meat-eating, beauty, and addiction, but they will not be interested in wiping someone’s two tears. The meaning of the saying is that there will be stores of food grains in Kaliyuga but people will die of hunger only. In front of the palaces and bungalows, there will be luxury facilities, but in the nearby hut, a man will die of hunger. Inequality will be at its peak in one place.
After Sahdev, Nakula told Shri Krishna that I have also seen a wonder that a big rock rolled down the mountain, even tree trunks and rocks could not stop it, but that rock stopped as soon as it collided with a small plant.
Shri Krishna said- ‘In Kaliyuga, the mind of man will fall down, his life will be degraded. This fallen life will not stop with the rocks of wealth, nor will it stop with the trees of power. But with a small plant named Hari, with a small plant of Hari Kirtan, the downfall of human life will stop. Shriman Narayan, Narayan Hari Hari.
