महँगाई की आग देखते ही देखते बुझ सकती है. बशर्ते उन सभी वस्तुओं में उत्पादन लागत भी अनिवार्य रूप से प्रिंट करवाया जाए, जिनका निर्माण विभिन्न फैक्ट्रियों में होता है. चाहे वे दवाइयाँ हों या चिकित्सा उपकरण, बिस्किट हो या चॉकलेट व टूथपेस्ट हो, या साबुन, खाद्य तेल हो या सिर में लगाने का तेल, सीमेंट हो या बिजली का कोई सामान!
फिलहाल इनमें अधिकतम विक्रय मूल्य (एम.आर.पी.) तो प्रिंट रहता है लेकिन, उत्पादन लागत नहीं ! दरअसल महँगाई का असली कारण उत्पादन लागत की गोपनीयता में छिपा हुआ है. इसमें पारदर्शिता होनी चाहिए. हम जैसे साधारण लोगों को तो यह भी पता नहीं कि, जिस पैक्ड सामान को हमने जिस कीमत पर ख़रीदा है, उसके उत्पादन में कितनी लागत आयी है? हम लोग सिर्फ़ एम. आर. पी. देखकर संतुष्ट हो जाते हैं.
दवाइयों और चिकित्सा उपकरणों पर तो एम.आर.पी. का यह खेल पूरी बेरहमी और बेशर्मी के साथ खेला जा रहा है. पिछले दिनों सोशल मीडिया में आए एक वीडियो में एक प्राइवेट अस्पताल के डॉक्टर के हवाले से बताया गया कि, 270 रुपए के एक इंजेक्शन पर एम.आर.पी. एक हजार रुपए प्रिंट रहता है. अगर अधिकतम खुदरा विक्रय मूल्य यानी मैक्ज़िमम रिटेल प्राइस (एम.आर.पी.)के साथ उस वस्तु की उत्पादन लागत भी प्रिंट रहे तो, ग्राहकों को दोनों की कीमतों के बीच का भारी अंतर मालूम हो जाएगा.
उत्पादकों को विवश होकर यह अंतर कम करना पड़ेगा और महँगाई की आग भी देखते ही देखते बुझ जाएगी. प्रत्येक पैक्ड वस्तु की उत्पादन लागत और एम.आर.पी. सरकार स्वयं तय करे और दोनों के बीच इतना अनुपात रखे जो आम जनता की क्रय शक्ति के भीतर हो.

Recently, in a video that came on social media, a doctor of a private hospital was quoted as saying that the MRP on an injection of Rs.270. One thousand rupees remain printed. If the production cost of that item is also printed along with the Maximum Retail Selling Price (MRP), the customers will come to know the huge difference between the two prices.
The producers will have to reduce this difference under compulsion and the fire of inflation will be extinguished in no time. Production cost and MRP of each packed item. The government itself should decide and keep such a ratio between the two which is within the purchasing power of the general public.
