भारत की निष्पक्ष पत्रकारिता की दमनकारी नीति कोई नई बात नहीं है. भारत के पत्रकारों ने जब कभी इतिहास को आईना दिखानें का काम किया तब तब पत्रकारों के दमन की कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी गई. अंग्रेजी साम्राज्य मे जब पत्रकारिता के माध्यम से शासन की पोल खुलने लगी तब अंग्रेजों ने प्रेस ऐक्ट लागू कर पत्रकारों पर शासन के विरोध मे खबर छापने पर जेल मे ठूसने का कार्य किया या मौत की सजा सुनाई यही बदहाली है आज भी लागू है न जाने कितने कलमकार इस की भेट चढ चुके है और कितने चढने वाले है एक तो पहले ही अखबार चलाना दूभर है उस पर जी एस टी और तमाम कानून लागू कर इसे और दूभर बनाने के प्रयास निरंन्तर जारी हैं.
उस पर सब से बड़ी मार भ्रष्टाचार का बोल इतना बाला है कि क्षेत्रीय अखबारों में छपी खबरों पर कोई आला अधिकारी संज्ञान लेता नही उल्टे पत्रकार और संम्पादक को तरह तरह से प्रताड़ित किया जाता है. न झुकने की स्थित मे दो ही रास्ते शेष बचते हैं. जेल या मौत ऐसे बुरे समय मे पत्रकारों से निष्पक्ष खबरों की उम्मीद करना उनकी जिन्दगी से खिलवाड़ करने जैसा है. फिर उस मे भी चटुकारों द्वारा बडे़ छोटे पत्रकार की खाई खोद कर पत्रकारों के उत्पीड़न को बढावा देने का कार्य किया गया है. जबकि, भारतीय संविधान के अनुसार देश का हर नागरिक अपना समाचार पत्र व पत्रिका प्रकाशित कर सकता है. सच लिखकर जनता तक पहुचानें वाला हर व्यक्ति पत्रकार है माध्यम कोई भी हो. इन तमाम दुश्वारियों से जूझते कलमकार को ठेस तब लगती है जब वो खबर संकलन के लिए कहीं जाता है. तो हमारा अपना ही उस से सवाल करता है आप कौन, किस बैनर से, अच्छा छोटे बैनर से हो आदि.
जब कि शायद इन्हे पता नही कि भारत का हर समाचार पत्र छोटा हो या बड़ा सभी केन्द्र सरकार से ही रजिस्टर्ड है कोई विदेश से नही रजिस्ट्रेशन करा कर नही आता. ये तो क्षेत्रीय समस्याएं है आगे मान्यता प्राप्त पत्रकार की भी खाई शासन द्वारा खोदी गई है. मान्यता प्राप्त होने के बाद तो पत्रकारों के कलम को मानों जंग लग जाता है. या मान्यता मानों गुड का भरा हसिया है खाओ तो पेट फटा और उगलो तो सारा मजा जा रहा है. ऐसे ही मान्यता अगर शासन के विरोध में लिखा तो मान्यता गई. और नही लिखा तो सत्ता के दलाल. ऐसी विकट परिस्थिती में निष्पक्ष पत्रकारिता आ बैल मुझे मार जैसा है. इसी कारण गुमनाम सही मै छोटा सा कलमकार हूँ हाँ मैं भी पत्रकार हूँ.

India’s repressive policy of fair journalism is not a new thing. Whenever the journalists of India did the work of showing the mirror to history, then no stone was left unturned to suppress the journalists. In the British Empire, when the secrets of governance through journalism began to be exposed, then the British enforced the Press Act and jailed journalists for publishing news against the regime or sentenced them to death. Kalamkars have fallen prey to this and how many more are going to fall? First, running a newspaper is already difficult and efforts are on to make it more difficult by implementing GST and other laws.
The biggest hit on him is that the word of corruption is so high that no top official takes cognizance of the news published in regional newspapers, on the contrary, journalists and editors are harassed in different ways. In the situation of not bowing down, only two ways remain. Jail or Death Expecting unbiased news from journalists in such bad times is like playing with their lives. Then in that too, the task of promoting the harassment of journalists has been done by the sycophants by digging a ditch for big and small journalists. Whereas, according to the Indian Constitution, every citizen of the country can publish his own newspaper and magazine. Every person who writes the truth and reaches it to the public is a journalist, whatever may be the medium. Struggling with all these miseries, Kalamkar gets hurt when he goes somewhere to collect news. So our own ask him who you are, from which banner, whether you are from a small banner etc.
While perhaps they do not know that every newspaper in India, big or small, is registered with the central government only, no one comes from abroad after getting registered. These are regional problems, further, the ditch of recognized journalists has also been dug by the government. After getting recognition, the pen of journalists gets rusted. Or believe in the belief that there is a smile full of jaggery, if you eat it, your stomach will burst and if you spit it out, all the fun is gone. Similarly, if recognition is written against the government, it is recognized. And if it is not written then the broker of power. In such a critical situation, fair journalism is like a bull hitting me. That’s why anonymous right, I am a small penman, yes I am also a journalist.
