विश्व कठपुतली दिवस प्रत्येक वर्ष 21 मार्च को मनाया जाता है. यह दिवस वैश्विक कला रूप के रूप में कठपुतली कला को पहचानने और दुनिया भर के कठपुतली वालों को सम्मान देने के लिए समर्पित है.
विश्व कठपुतली दिवस की स्थापना 2003 में UNIMA – यूनियन इंटरनेशनल डे ला मैरिओनेटे द्वारा की गई थी. इस दिन का उद्देश्य कठपुतली कला की रक्षा और संरक्षण के साथ-साथ इस कला के नवीकरण को बढ़ावा देना है.
विश्व कठपुतली दिवस अब दुनिया भर में इसके राष्ट्रीय केंद्रों के माध्यम से मनाया जाता है.

World Puppet Day is celebrated every year on 21 March. The day is dedicated to recognizing puppetry as a global art form and honoring puppeteers around the world.
World Puppet Day was established in 2003 by UNIMA – Union International de la Marionette. The objective of this day is to protect and preserve the art of puppetry as well as to promote the renewal of this art.
World Puppet Day is now celebrated through its national centers across the world.
