विश्व यूनानी दिवस

विश्व यूनानी दिवस वर्ष 2013 में यूनेस्को (UNESCO) द्वारा घोषित किया गया था। यह दिवस हर साल 11 फरवरी को मनाया जाता है। यह दिवस यूनानी मेडिसिन और उसकी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान को याद करने के लिए मनाया जाता है। यूनानी चिकित्सा एक प्राचीन चिकित्सा प्रणाली है जो कि पुराने ग्रीक चिकित्सा प्रणालियों पर आधारित है। यह चिकित्सा पद्धति आज भी कई देशों में प्रचलित है और उपयोग किया जाता है। इस दिवस के माध्यम से यूनानी चिकित्सा के महत्व को संज्ञान में लाया जाता है और इसके प्रचार-प्रसार को बढ़ावा दिया जाता है।
