1. भगत पुराण सिंह:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1904 प्रकाशक, पर्यावरणविद भगत पुराण सिंह का जन्म लुधियाना जिले के गाँव राजेवाल (रोहनो) के पास खन्ना में माता मेहताब कौर और पिता छिब्बू मल्ल के यहाँ हुआ था. उनके पिता बैंकर थे जबकि, उनकी माता धार्मिक विचारों वाली महिला थीं. उनके बचपन का नाम रामजी दास था.
2. अभिनेत्री नूतन:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1936 में हिन्दी सिनेमा की प्रसिद्ध अभिनेत्री नूतन का जन्म बाँबे प्रेज़ीडेंसी (मुंबई) में पढे-लिखे और सभ्रांत परिवार में हुआ था.इनकी माता का नाम शोभना सामर्थ और पिता का नाम कुमारसेन सामर्थ था. इनका पूरा नाम नूतन समर्थ बहल है. नूतन ने अपने फ़िल्मी जीवन की शुरुआत वर्ष 1950 में ‘हुमरी बेटी’ से की थी और इस फिल्म का निर्देशन उनकी मां शोभाणा ने किया था. हिंदी सिनेमा के इतिहास में बेहतरीन महिला कलाकारों में से एक के रूप में माना जाता है. नूतन को मिस इंडिया पुरस्कार से भी सम्मानित किया गया और इस पुरस्कार को पाने वाली पहली महिला थीं.  नूतन ने 50 से भी अधिक फ़िल्मों में काम किया और उन्हे बहुत से अन्य पुरस्कारों के अलावा 06बार फ़िल्मफ़ेयर पुरस्कार मिला. नूतन को भारत सरकार ने वर्ष 1974 में ‘पद्म श्री’ से भी सम्मानित किया था.
3. अभिनेता अशोक सर्राफ:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1947 में अभिनेता अशोक सर्राफ का जन्म नागपुर में हुआ था.सर्राफ ने कई मराठी फिल्मों और मुख्य भूमिकाओं में और हिंदी फिल्मों और टीवी धारावाहिकों में सहायक भूमिकाओं में नज़र आ चुके हैं.सर्राफ को मराठी फिल्म उद्योग का ” सम्राट अशोक ” कहा जाता है.उन्होंने वर्ष 1969 में मराठी फिल्म जानकी से अपने करियर की शुरुआत की थी.सराफ इतने बहुमुखी अभिनेता हैं कि उन्होंने बॉलीवुड में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिकाएँ निभाई हैं.उन्होंने 250 से अधिक मराठी फिल्मों में काम किया है, जिनमें से 100 व्यावसायिक रूप से सफल रहीं. उन्होंने अपना खुद का प्रोडक्शन हाउस “अनिकेत टेलीफिल्म्स” विकसित किया, जिसे उनकी पत्नी निवेदिता सराफ ने संभालती हैं..
4. अनिल शास्त्री:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1948 में राष्ट्रीय काँग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेताओं में से एक अनिल शास्त्री का जन्म लखनऊ में लाल बहादुर शास्त्री और ललिता शास्त्री के यहाँ हुआ था. अनिल शास्त्री भारत के द्वितीय प्रधान मन्त्री लाल बहादुर शास्त्री के द्वितीय पुत्र हैं.वर्ष 1989 में वे वाराणसी से लोक सभा के सांसद चुने गये और भारत सरकार के वित्त मन्त्रालय में मन्त्री भी रहे. अनिल शास्त्री राजनीति में आने से पहले एक कॉरपोरेट ऑफिस में काम करते थे, वहाँ इन्होंने 17 वर्षों तक वरिष्ठ पदों पर कार्य किया. अनिल शास्त्री की प्रबन्धन के क्षेत्र में उच्चतर शिक्षा प्रदान करने हेतु अहम भूमिका रही है.
5. अवनीश सिंह चौहान:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1979 लेखक अवनीश सिंह चौहान का जन्म हुआ था.
6. सी० राजगोपालाचारी:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1959 में सी० राजगोपालाचारी ने स्वतंत्र पार्टी बनाने की घोषणा की थी.
7. व्यवसायी अनिल अंबानी:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1959 में रिलायंस समूह के अध्यक्ष और प्रसिद्ध व्यवसायी अनिल अंबानी का जन्म मुंबई में हुआ था इनके पिता का नाम धीरूभाई अंबानी और माता का नाम कोकिलाबेन अंबानी है.फोर्ब्स की 2018 की सुची के अनुसार उनके पास 7 अरब अमरीकी डालर मूल्य की संपत्ति है, जिसके अनुसार वे विश्व के 887वें सबसे धनी व्यक्ति हैं.
8. जवाहरलाल नेहरू पुरस्कार:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 2007 में ब्राजील के राष्ट्रपति लुइस इनासियो लुला डि सिल्वा को वर्ष 2006 का जवाहरलाल नेहरू पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया.
9. अर्थशास्त्री डॉ० अमर्त्य सेन:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 2011 में नोबेल पुरस्कार विजेता भारतीय अर्थशास्त्री डॉ० अमर्त्य सेन ने पश्चिमी देशों को भारत और चीन से सीख लेने की सलाह दी. डॉक्टर सेन ने कहा कि पश्चिमी देशों को नए विचारों की ज़रूरत है.
10. सुलभा देशपांडे:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 2016 हिन्दी फ़िल्मों की अभिनेत्री सुलभा देशपांडे का निधन हुआ था. विजय तेंदुलकर जैसे प्रख्यात नाट्य लेखकों द्वारा लिखे नाटकों में अभियन करने वाली सुलभा देशपांडे ने कई मराठी और हिन्दी फिल्मों तथा टीवी सीरियलों में काम किया था उन्होंने मराठी और हिंदी रंगमंच के अलावा मराठी और हिंदी की कई फिल्मों में काम किया.देशपांडे ने अपने पति अरविन्द देशपांडे के साथ 1971 में थिएटर ग्रुप ‘आविष्कार’ का गठन किया था.

1. Bhagat Puran Singh:- On this day in the year 1904, publisher, and environmentalist Bhagat Puran Singh was born to mother Mehtab Kaur and father Chibbu Malla in Khanna near village Rajewal (Rohno) in Ludhiana district. His father was a banker while his mother was a woman with religious views. His childhood name was Ramji Das.
2. Actress Nutan: – On this day in the year 1936, Hindi cinema’s famous actress Nutan was born into an educated and elite family in Bombay Presidency (Mumbai). Her mother’s name was Shobhana Samarth and her father’s name was Kumarsen Samarth. His full name is Nutan Samarth Behl. Nutan started his film career in the year 1950 with ‘Humari Beti’ and this film was directed by his mother Shobhana. Considered one of the finest female artists in the history of Hindi cinema. Nutan was also honored with the Miss India award and was the first woman to receive this award. Nutan worked in more than 50 films and received the Filmfare Award 06 times, in addition to many other awards. Nutan was also honored with ‘Padma Shri’ by the Government of India in the year 1974.
3. Actor Ashok Sarraf:- On this day in the year 1947, actor Ashok Sarraf was born in Nagpur. Sarraf has appeared in many Marathi films and in lead roles and in supporting roles in Hindi films and TV serials. Sarraf is Known as the “Emperor Ashoka” of the Marathi film industry. He started his career with the Marathi film Janaki in the year 1969. Saraf is such a versatile actor that he has played important roles in Bollywood as well. He has worked in over 250 Marathi films. 100 of which were commercially successful. He developed his own production house “Aniket Telefilms” which is managed by his wife Nivedita Saraf…
4. Anil Shastri: – On this day in the year 1948, one of the senior leaders of the National Congress, Anil Shastri was born in Lucknow to Lal Bahadur Shastri and Lalita Shastri. Anil Shastri is the second son of Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second Prime Minister of India. In the year 1989, he was elected Member of the Lok Sabha from Varanasi and also served as a Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Anil Shastri used to work in a corporate office before joining politics, where he held senior positions for 17 years. Anil Shastri has played an important role in providing higher education in the field of management.
5. Avneesh Singh Chauhan: – On this day in the year 1979, writer Avneesh Singh Chauhan was born.
6. Rajagopalachari:- On this day in the year 1959, C. Rajagopalachari announced the formation of an independent party.
7. Businessman Anil Ambani: – On this day in the year 1959, Reliance Group Chairman and famous businessman Anil Ambani was born in Mumbai. His father’s name is Dhirubhai Ambani and his mother’s name is Kokilaben Ambani. According to Forbes 2018 list He has assets worth USD 2.7 billion, according to which he is the 887th richest person in the world.
8. Jawaharlal Nehru Award: – On this day in the year 2007, Brazilian President Luis Inacio Lula de Silva was awarded the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for the year 2006.
9. Economist Dr. Amartya Sen:- On this day in the year 2011, Nobel Prize-winning Indian economist Dr. Amartya Sen advised Western countries to learn from India and China. Dr. Sen said that Western countries need new ideas.
10. Sulabha Deshpande:- On this day in the year 2016 Hindi film actress Sulabha Deshpande passed away. Sulabha Deshpande, who acted in plays written by eminent playwrights like Vijay Tendulkar, acted in many Marathi and Hindi films and TV serials. She worked in Marathi and Hindi theater as well as in many Marathi and Hindi films. Deshpande married her husband Arvind. Along with Deshpande, he formed the theater group ‘Avishkar’ in 1971.
