1. बहलुल खान लोदी:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1489 में दिल्ली पर 75 वर्षों तक शासन करने वाले लोदी वंश के संस्थापक बहलुल खान लोदी का दिल्ली में निधन हुआ था.
2. मित्रता के अनुबंध :- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1674 में शिवाजी ने ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी के साथ मित्रता के अनुबंध पर हस्ताक्षर किये थे.
3. पहला वाष्प जहाज ‘डायना’: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1823 में भारत में निर्मित पहला वाष्प जहाज ‘डायना’ का कलकत्ता (अब कोलकाता) में अनावरण किया गया था.
4. लेखक दुर्गा प्रसाद खत्री:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1895 में उपन्यास लेखक दुर्गा प्रसाद खत्री का जन्म वाराणसी (भूतपूर्व काशी) में हुआ था. वर्ष 1912 ई. में विज्ञान और गणित में विशेष योग्यता के साथ स्कूल लीविंग परीक्षा उन्होंने पास की। इसके बाद उन्होंने लिखना आरंभ किया और डेढ़ दर्जन से अधिक उपन्यास लिखे.
5. फ़िल्म निर्देशक बिमल राय:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1909 में फ़िल्म निर्देशक बिमल राय का जन्म पूर्व बंगाल (वर्तमान बांग्लादेश) के एक ज़मींदार परिवार में हुआ था. बिमल ने अपना कैरियर न्यू थियेटर स्टूडियो, कोलकाता में कैमरामैन के रूप में शुरू किया. वर्ष 1935 में आई के. एल. सहगल की फ़िल्म देवदास के सहायक निर्देशक थे. बिमल राय ने अपनी फ़िल्मों में सामाजिक समस्याओं को तो उठाया ही, उनके समाधान का भी प्रयास किया और पर्याप्त संकेत दिए कि उन स्थितियों से कैसे निबटा जाए. ‘बंदिनी’ और ‘सुजाता’ फ़िल्मों का उदाहरण सामने है जिनके माध्यम से वह समाज को संदेश देते हैं.
6. 16वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश वाई. वी. चंद्रचूड़:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1920 में भारत के भूतपूर्व 16वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश वाई. वी. चंद्रचूड़ का जन्म पुणे, बंबई प्रेसीडेंसी, ब्रिटिश भारत में हुआ था.
7. प्रतिबन्ध को सशर्त हटाया गया:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1949 में महात्मा गाँधी की हत्या के बाद आरएसएस पर लगाए गए प्रतिबन्ध को सशर्त हटाया गया था.
8. अभिनेत्री सुलक्षणा पंडित:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1954 में अभिनेत्री सुलक्षणा पंडित का जन्म छत्तीसगढ़ के रायगढ़ में हुआ था. उन्होंने नौ साल की उम्र से ही गाना शुरू कर दिया था.सुलक्षणा मशहूर शास्त्रीय गायक पं. जसराज के परिवार से ताल्लुक रखती हैं। उनके तीन भाई संगीतकार जतिन-ललित, मंधीर, तीन बहनें माया एडरसन, संध्या सिंह और विजेयता पंडित हैं. सुलक्षणा ने वर्ष 1967 में फिल्म के लिए पहली बार गाना गाया था. इसी दौरान उन्हें फिल्मों में एक्टिंग के लिए भी ऑफर मिलने लगे. वर्ष 1975 में सुलक्षणा पंडित ने फिल्म ‘उलझन’ से डेब्यू किया. शुरुआत में वे स्टेज शो करती थीं. फिल्मों में सुलक्षणा का सिंगिंग क्रिया ‘तकदीर’ से शुरू हुआ. इस फिल्म में उन्होंने लता मंगेशकर के साथ ‘सात संदर पार से…’ गाना गाया था. उन्हें वर्ष 1976 में फिल्म ‘संकल्प’ के गाने ‘तू सागर है…’ के लिए फिल्मफेयर अवॉर्ड मिला था.
9. यूनिवर्सिटी की स्थापना:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1960  में भागलपुर और रांची यूनिवर्सिटी की स्थापना हुई थी.
10. क्रिकेटर और कमेंटेटर संजय मांजरेकर:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1965 में क्रिकेटर और कमेंटेटर संजय मांजरेकर का जन्म मंगलोर में हुआ था. उनके पिता नाम विजय मांजरेकर है. मांजरेकर ने 7 मार्च 1985 को प्रथम श्रेणी क्रिकेट में पदार्पण किया, हरियाणा पर रणजी ट्रॉफी क्वार्टर फाइनल जीत के दौरान बॉम्बे के लिए अपनी एकमात्र पारी में 57 रन बनाए. उन्होंने प्रथम श्रेणी क्रिकेट में अपना पहला शतक लगाया, बड़ौदा के खिलाफ मैच की पहली पारी के दौरान नाबाद 100 रन बनाए. उन्होंने प्रथम श्रेणी क्रिकेट में अपना पहला शतक लगाया, बड़ौदा के खिलाफ मैच की पहली पारी के दौरान नाबाद 100 रन बनाए.
11. भीषण बाढ़:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1970 में अलकनंदा नदी में आई भीषण बाढ़ ने 600 लोगों की जान चली गई थी.
12. सुंदर पिचाई:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1972 में भारतीय मूल के अमेरिकी नागरिक, जो ‘गूगल खोज’ अनुभाग के सीईओ सुंदर पिचाई का जन्म मदुरै, तमिलनाडु के एक तमिल परिवार में हुआ था. उनकी माता का नाम लक्ष्मी और पिता का नाम रघुनाथ पिचाई था. पिचाई की मां लक्ष्मी एक स्टेनोग्राफर थीं और ,उनके पिता रघुनाथ पिचाई ब्रिटिश समूह के जीईसी में एक इलेक्ट्रिकल इंजीनियर थे. सुन्दर ने जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय, अशोक नगर, चेन्नई में अपनी दसवीं कक्षा पूरी की और वना वाणी स्कूल, चेन्नई में स्थित स्कूल से बारहवीं कक्षा पूरी की। पिचाई ने मेटलर्जिकल इंजीनियरिंग में भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, खड़गपुर से अपनी बैचलर डिग्री अर्जित की. पिचाई वर्ष 2004 में गूगल में आए और  वे गूगल के उत्पाद जिसमें गूगल क्रोम, क्रोम ओएस शामिल है.
13. टेबल टेनिस खिलाड़ी अचंत शरत कमल:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1982 में टेबल टेनिस खिलाड़ी अचंत शरत कमल का जन्म चेन्नई, तमिलनाडु में हुआ था. उनके पिता का नाम श्रीनिवास राव और माता का नाम अन्नपूर्णा राव है. उन्होंने पीएसबीबी नुंगमबक्कम स्कूल और लोयोला कॉलेज, चेन्नई से अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी की है.अचंत शरत कमल एक खिलाड़ी होने के साथ-साथ इंडियन ऑयल कॉर्पोरेशन में अधिकारी भी हैं. राष्ट्रमडंल खेलों में टेबल टेनिस चैंपियनशिप में अचंत शरत कमल स्वर्ण पदक पाने वाले प्रथम भारतीय खिलाड़ी हैं.
14. ‘प्रसाद परिषद’ के भूतपूर्व सभापति विश्वनाथ प्रसाद मिश्र:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1982 में साहित्यिक संस्था ‘प्रसाद परिषद’ के भूतपूर्व सभापति का निधन हुआ था.
15. सदाबहार अभिनेता राजेंद्र कुमार:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1999 में सदाबहार अभिनेता राजेंद्र कुमार का निधन हुआ था.
16. ‘मैत्री’ बस सेवा:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 2001 में भारत और बांग्लादेश अगरतल्ला और ढाका के बीच ‘मैत्री’ बस सेवा प्रारम्भ हुई थी.
17. राजनीतिज्ञ घनश्यामभाई ओझा:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 2002 में गुजरात के भूतपूर्व मुख्यमंत्री घनश्यामभाई ओझा का निधन हुआ था.

Sulakshana belongs to the family of famous classical singer Pt. Jasraj. He has three brothers, musicians Jatin-Lalit, and Mandhir, and three sisters Maya Ederson, Sandhya Singh, and Vijeeta Pandit. Sulakshana sang for the first time in the year 1967 for the film. During this, he also started getting offers for acting in films. In the year 1975, Sulakshana Pandit made her debut with the film ‘Uljhan’. Initially, she used to do stage shows. Sulakshana’s singing career in films started with ‘Taqdeer’. His mother’s name was Lakshmi and his father’s name was Raghunath Pichai. Pichai’s mother Lakshmi was a stenographer and his father Raghunath Pichai was an electrical engineer in the British conglomerate GEC. Sundar completed his tenth standard from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Ashok Nagar, Chennai, and completed his twelfth standard from Vana Vani School, a school located in Chennai.
