छत्रपति शिवाजी ने ना केवल युद्ध करके मराठों की सत्ता स्थापित की बल्कि जातिगत भेदभाव को खत्म करने का भी प्रयास किया। छत्रपति जैसे बहादुर शासक के विचारों का समाज पर गहरा प्रभाव पड़ता है। शिवाजी महाराज के विचार आज भी हमारे बीच मौजूद हैं।यदि अगर मनुष्य के पास आत्मबल है तो वो पूरे संसार पर अपने हौसले से विजय पताका लहरा सकता है।अंगूर को जब तक ठीक से न पेरो तब तक वो मीठी मदिरा नहीं बनाता, वैसे ही व्यक्ति जब तक दुख में नहीं पिसता, तब तक उसके अंदर की सर्वोत्तम प्रतिभा बाहर नहीं आती।हमेशा अच्छे दिन की आशा नहीं रखनी चाहिए क्योंकि दिन और रात की तरह अच्छे दिनों को भी बदलना पड़ता है।अपने आत्मबल को जगाने वाला, खुद को पहचानने वाला और मानव जाति के कल्याण की सोच रखने वाला, पूरे विश्व पर राज्य कर सकता है।प्रतिशोध मनुष्य को जलाता है, संयम ही प्रतिशोध को काबू करने का उपाय होता है।
-कोई भी काम करने से पहले उसका परिणाम सोच लेना सही होता है, क्योंकि हमारी आने वाली पीढ़ी उसी का अनुसरण करती है।स्वतंत्रता एक वरदान है, जिसे पाने का अधिकारी हर कोई को है।छोटे लक्ष्य पर एक छोटा कदम, बाद में विशाल लक्ष्य भी हासिल करवा देता है।जरूरी नहीं कि विपत्ति का सामना, दुश्मन के सम्मुख से ही करने में वीरता हो, वीरता तो विजय में है।जब हौसले बुलंद हों तो पहाड़ भी एक मिट्टी का ढेर लगता है।शत्रु को कमजोर न समझो, तो अत्यधिक बलिष्ठ समझ कर डरना भी नहीं चाहिए।
-जब लक्ष्य जीत का हो तो हासिल करने के लिए कितना भी परिश्रम, कोई भी मूल्य, क्यों न हो उसे चुकाना ही पड़ता है।सर्वप्रथम राष्ट्र फिर गुरु फिर माता-पिता फिर परमेश्वर, अत: पहले खुद को नहीं राष्ट्र को देखना चाहिए।उत्साह मनुष्य की ताकत, संयम और अड़िगता होती है।सब का कल्याण मनुष्य का लक्ष्य होना चाहिए, तभी कीर्ति उसका फल होगा।

One should not always hope for good days because, like day and night, good days also have to change. One who thinks about the welfare of mankind and the welfare of mankind can rule the whole world. Vengeance burns man, restraint is the only way to control vengeance.
Before doing any work, it is right to think about its consequences, because our future generations follow the same. Freedom is a boon, which everyone has the right to have. A small step towards a small goal, later a huge one. It also achieves the goal. It is not necessary that there should be bravery in facing adversity, in front of the enemy itself, bravery is in victory. When the spirits are high, even a mountain looks like a pile of mud. So don’t be afraid considering it is too strong.
When the goal is to win, then no matter how much hard work, no matter the cost, it has to be paid to achieve it. First of all, the nation, then the teacher, then the parents, then the God, so the nation should not be seen first. Enthusiasm is man’s strength, restraint, and steadfastness. The welfare of all should be man’s goal, only then fame will be its fruit.
