विश्व बालश्रम निषेध दिवस (World Day Against Child Labour) हर वर्ष  12 जून को मनाया जाता है. इस दिवस का उद्देश्य बालश्रम के खिलाफ जागरूकता बढ़ाना और इसे समाप्त करने के लिए प्रयास करना है. यह दिवस अंतर्राष्ट्रीय श्रम संगठन (ILO) द्वारा 2002 में शुरू किया गया था और तब से हर साल इसे वैश्विक स्तर पर मनाया जाता है.

बालश्रम के मुद्दों के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाना और यह बताना कि बालश्रम बच्चों के शारीरिक, मानसिक और नैतिक विकास को कैसे प्रभावित करता है.बालश्रम को समाप्त करने के लिए आवश्यक नीतियों और कानूनों का समर्थन जुटाना. बालश्रम में फंसे बच्चों को शिक्षा और सुरक्षा प्रदान करना और उन्हें उनके अधिकारों के बारे में जागरूक करना.

बालश्रम के कारण और प्रभाव: – आर्थिक तंगी और गरीबी के कारण कई परिवार अपने बच्चों को काम पर भेजने के लिए मजबूर होते हैं. शिक्षा की कमी और स्कूलों की अनुपलब्धता भी बच्चों को काम पर जाने के लिए मजबूर करती है. कुछ स्थानों पर सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक मान्यताओं के कारण भी बालश्रम को बढ़ावा मिलता है.

प्रभाव: –  शारीरिक और मानसिक विकास पर प्रभाव: बालश्रम बच्चों के शारीरिक और मानसिक विकास को बाधित करता है. बालश्रम के कारण बच्चे शिक्षा से वंचित रह जाते हैं, जिससे उनका भविष्य प्रभावित होता है. कठोर परिश्रम और अस्वास्थ्यकर कार्यस्थल पर काम करने से बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य पर गंभीर प्रभाव पड़ता है.

उपाय और प्रयास: –  ILO के प्रयास: ILO ने बालश्रम को समाप्त करने के लिए कई कार्यक्रम और नीतियाँ बनाई हैं, जिनमें ‘International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC)’ प्रमुख है. संयुक्त राष्ट्र बाल अधिकार सम्मेलन (UNCRC) के माध्यम से भी बच्चों के अधिकारों की सुरक्षा और बालश्रम के खिलाफ कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं.

राष्ट्रीय प्रयास: – कई देशों ने बालश्रम को प्रतिबंधित करने के लिए सख्त कानून बनाए हैं और इन कानूनों का पालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए तंत्र स्थापित किए हैं. बालश्रम को समाप्त करने के लिए शिक्षा का प्रावधान सुनिश्चित करना महत्वपूर्ण है. बच्चों को मुफ्त और अनिवार्य शिक्षा प्रदान करना एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है.

स्थानीय समुदायों में जागरूकता फैलाकर और बालश्रम के खिलाफ आवाज उठाकर समाज इस समस्या को समाप्त करने में योगदान दे सकता है. विभिन्न गैर-सरकारी संगठन (NGOs) बालश्रम को समाप्त करने के लिए कार्य कर रहे हैं. इन संगठनों के साथ मिलकर काम करना और उनके प्रयासों को समर्थन देना महत्वपूर्ण है.
