भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस (आईटीबीपी) का स्थापना दिवस हर वर्ष 24 अक्टूबर को मनाया जाता है. आईटीबीपी की स्थापना वर्ष 1962 में भारत-चीन युद्ध के बाद की गई थी, जब भारत-चीन सीमा की सुरक्षा की आवश्यकता महसूस की गई थी. इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य हिमालय क्षेत्र में स्थित भारत-चीन सीमा की निगरानी और सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना है.
आईटीबीपी एक विशेष अर्धसैनिक बल है, जिसे कठिन पहाड़ी और बर्फीले क्षेत्रों में भी तैनात किया जाता है. इसके जवान कठिन और चुनौतीपूर्ण भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों में भी अपनी सेवाएं देते हैं, खासकर भारत-चीन सीमा के साथ सर्दियों में अत्यधिक ऊंचाई वाले क्षेत्रों में तैनाती होती है. इसके अलावा, आईटीबीपी आपदा प्रबंधन, बचाव कार्यों, और अन्य सुरक्षा-संबंधी ऑपरेशनों में भी योगदान देता है.
आईटीबीपी के स्थापना दिवस पर बल के जवानों और अधिकारियों के योगदान को सम्मानित किया जाता है और इस अवसर पर विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन भी होता है.

ITBP Foundation Day
The Foundation Day of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is celebrated every year on 24 October. ITBP was established in the year 1962 after the Indo-China war when the need for security of the Indo-China border was felt. Its main objective is to monitor and ensure the security of the Indo-China border located in the Himalayan region.
ITBP is a special paramilitary force, which is also deployed in difficult mountainous and snowy areas. Its soldiers also serve in difficult and challenging geographical conditions, especially in high-altitude areas in winter along the Indo-China border. Apart from this, ITBP also contributes to disaster management, rescue operations, and other security-related operations.
On the foundation day of ITBP, the contribution of the soldiers and officers of the force is honored and various programs are also organized on this occasion.
