उत्पन्ना एकादशी…

सत्संग के दौरान एक भक्त ने महाराजजी से पूछा कि, महाराजजी पुण्यमयी एकादशी तिथि की उत्पत्ति कैसे हुई, इसके बारे में कुछ जानकारी देने की कृपा करें. वाल्व्यास सुमनजी महाराज कहते है कि, धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर ने यही सवाल श्यामसुंदर कमलनयन भगवान श्रीकृष्ण से पूछा! तब कमलनयन श्यामसुन्दर ने कहा कि, हे युधिष्ठिर! अगहन महीने की कृष्ण पक्ष की एकादशी को उत्पन्ना एकादशी के नाम से जानते हैं और इस दिन भगवान नारायण की पूजा की जाती है. इस एकादशी को करने से साधक को जीवन में उत्तम फल की प्राप्ति होती है.

पूजन सामाग्री: –

वेदी, कलश, सप्तधान, पंच पल्लव, रोली, गोपी चन्दन, गंगा जल, दूध, दही, गाय के घी का दीपक, सुपाड़ी, शहद, पंचामृत, मोगरे की अगरबत्ती, ऋतू फल, फुल, आंवला, अनार, लौंग, नारियल, नीबूं, नवैध, केला और तुलसी पत्र व मंजरी.

व्रत विधि: –

सबसे पहले आपको एकादशी के दिन सुबह उठ कर स्नान करना चाहिए और व्रत का संकल्प लेना चाहिए. उसके बाद भगवान विष्णु की मूर्ति या चित्र की स्थापना की जाती है. उसके बाद भगवान विष्णु की पूजा के लिए धूप, दीप, नारियल और पुष्प का प्रयोग करना चाहिए. अंत में भगवान विष्णु के स्वरूप का स्मरण करते हुए ध्यान लगायें, उसके बाद विष्णु सहस्त्रनाम का पाठ करके, कथा पढ़ते हुए  विधिपूर्वक पूजन करें. ध्यान दें…. एकादशी की रात्री को जागरण अवश्य ही करना चाहिए, दुसरे दिन द्वादशी के दिन सुबह ब्राह्मणो को अन्न दान व दक्षिणा देकर इस व्रत को संपन्न करना चाहिए.

कथा: –

सत्ययुग में मुर नामक भयंकर दानव ने देवराज इन्द्र को पराजित करके स्वर्ग पर अपना आधिपत्य जमा लिया, तब सभी देवता महादेव जी के पास पहुंचे और अपनी सारी कहानी सुनाई तब, महादेवजी गणों व देवताओं को साथ लेकर क्षीरसागर गये जहां, शेषनाग की शय्यापर योग-निद्रा में लीन भगवान विष्णु को देखकर महादेवजी और सभी देवता मिलकर उनकी स्तुति की. देवताओं के अनुरोध पर कमलनयन भगवान विष्णु ने अत्याचारी दैत्यों पर आक्रमण कर दिया. सैकड़ों वर्षों तक लगातार युद्ध करते हुए सैकड़ो दैत्यों का संहार करके भगवान नारायण बदरिकाश्रम चले गए और वहां वे बारह योजन लम्बी सिंहावती गुफा में निद्रा लीन हो गए. दानव मुर भी मारने के इच्छा से उस गुफा के अंदर गया, दूसरी तरफ श्रीहरि के शरीर से दिव्य अस्त्र-शस्त्रों से युक्त एक अति रूपवती कन्या उत्पन्न हुई, जो अपनी हुंकार से मुर दानव को भस्म कर दिया. भगवान नारायण के जगने के बाद उस कन्या ने सारी घटना का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि, मुर दानव को मैंने मारा है, इस पर कमलनयन भगवान नारायण ने खुश होकर मनोवांछित वरदान देकर उसे अपनी प्रिय तिथि घोषित कर दिया.

एकादशी का फल: –

एकादशी प्राणियों के परम लक्ष्य, भगवद भक्ति, को प्राप्त करने में सहायक होती है. यह दिन प्रभु की पूर्ण श्रद्धा से सेवा करने के लिए अति शुभकारी एवं फलदायक माना गया है. इस दिन व्यक्ति इच्छाओं से मुक्त हो कर यदि शुद्ध मन से भगवान की भक्तिमयी सेवा करता है तो वह अवश्य ही प्रभु की कृपापात्र बनता है.

ध्यान दें…. 

एकादशी की रात्री को जागरण अवश्य ही करना चाहिए, दुसरे दिन द्वादशी के दिन सुबह ब्राह्मणो को अन्न दान व दक्षिणा देकर इस व्रत को संपन्न करना चाहिए.

Utpana Ekadashi…

During the Satsang, a devotee asked Maharajji, to please give some information about how Punyamayi Ekadashi Tithi came into existence. Valvyas Sumanji Maharaj says that Dharmaraj Yudhishthir asked the same question to Shyamsundar Kamalanayan Lord Shri Krishna. Then the lotus-eyed Shyamsundar said, O Yudhishthir! Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha of Agahan month is known as Utpana Ekadashi and Lord Narayana is worshipped on this day. By doing this Ekadashi, the seeker gets good results in life.

Worship material: –

Vedi, Kalash, Saptadhan, Panch Pallav, Roli, Gopi sandalwood, Ganga water, milk, curd, cow ghee lamp, betel nuts, honey, Panchamrit, Mogra incense sticks, seasonal fruits, flowers, Amla, pomegranate, cloves, coconut, Lemon, sweet lime, banana and basil leaves and Manjari.

Fasting method: –

First of all, you should wake up in the morning on the day of Ekadashi, take a bath and make a resolution to fast. After that, the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu is installed. After that, incense, lamp, coconut and flowers should be used to worship Lord Vishnu. In the end, meditate remembering the form of Lord Vishnu, and after that recite Vishnu Sahasranama and perform the worship methodically while reading the story. Note… Jagran must be done on the night of Ekadashi; this fast should be completed by donating food and Dakshina to Brahmins on the next day in the morning on Dwadashi.

Story: –

In Satyayuga, a fierce demon named Mur defeated Devraj Indra and took over heaven, and then all the gods came to Mahadev ji and told their entire story. Then, Mahadev ji took the people and gods along with him to Kshirsagar where, on the bed of Sheshnaag, he performed yoga – Seeing Lord Vishnu absorbed in sleep, Mahadevji and all the gods together praised him. At the request of the gods, Lord Vishnu attacked the tyrannical demons. After fighting continuously for hundreds of years and killing hundreds of demons, Lord Narayana went to Badarika Ashram and there he went to sleep in the twelve yojana-long Singhavati cave. The demon Mur also went inside that cave with the desire to kill, on the other hand, from the body of Shri Hari, a very beautiful girl with divine weapons was born, who destroyed the demon Mur with her roar. After Lord Narayan woke up, the girl narrated the whole incident and said, I have killed the demon Mur, on this Lord Kamalnayan became happy and gave her the desired boon and declared her his favourite date.

Result of Ekadashi: –

Ekadashi helps achieve the ultimate goal of living beings, devotion to God. This day is considered very auspicious and fruitful for serving the Lord with full devotion. On this day, if a person becomes free from desires and does devotional service to God with a pure heart, then he becomes blessed by the Lord.

Jagran must be done on the night of Ekadashi, this fast should be completed by donating food and Dakshina to Brahmins on the next day in the morning on Dwadashi.
