दोहा: –
जिन्ह पायन्ह के पादुकन्हि भरतु रहे मन लाइ।
ते पद आजु बिलोकिहउँ इन्ह नयनन्हि अब जाइ ।।
वाल्व्यास सुमनजी महाराज श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए कहते है कि, जिन चरणो की पादुकाओ में भरतजी ने अपना मन लगा रखा है, अहा ! आज मैं उन्ही चरणो को अभी जाकर इन नेत्रो से देखूँगा.
चौपाई: –
एहि बिधि करत सप्रेम बिचारा। आयउ सपदि सिंधु एहिं पारा।।
कपिन्ह बिभीषनु आवत देखा। जाना कोउ रिपु दूत बिसेषा ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराजजी कहते है कि, इस प्रकार प्रेमसहित विचार करते हुए वे शीघ्र ही समुन्द्र के इस पार जिधर श्रीरामचन्द्रजी की सेना थी वहाँ आ गए. वानरो ने विभीषण को आते देखा तो उन्होने जाना कि शत्रु का कोई खास दूत है.
ताहि राखि कपीस पहिं आए। समाचार सब ताहि सुनाए।।
कह सुग्रीव सुनहु रघुराई। आवा मिलन दसानन भाई ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराजजी कहते है कि, उन्हे पहरे पर ठहराकर वे सुग्रीव के पास आए और उनको सब समाचार कह सुनाए. सुग्रीव ने श्रीरामचंद्रजी के पास जाकर कहा – हे रघुनाथ जी ! सुनिए, रावण का भाई आप से मिलने आया है.
कह प्रभु सखा बूझिऐ काहा। कहइ कपीस सुनहु नरनाहा।।
जानि न जाइ निसाचर माया। कामरूप केहि कारन आया ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराजजी कहते है कि, प्रभु श्रीरामचंद्रजी ने कहा – हे मित्र ! तुम्हारी क्या राय है? वानरराज सुग्रीव ने कहा – हे महाराज ! सुनिए, राक्षसो की माया जानी नही जाती है. यह इच्छानुसार रूप बदलने वाला न जाने किस कारण आया है.
भेद हमार लेन सठ आवा। राखिअ बाँधि मोहि अस भावा।।
सखा नीति तुम्ह नीकि बिचारी। मम पन सरनागत भयहारी ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराजजी कहते है कि,जान पड़ता है यह मूर्ख हमारा भेद लेने आया है, इसलिए मुझे तो यही अच्छा लगता है कि इस बाँधकर रखा जाए. तब श्रीरामचंद्रजी ने कहा – हे मित्र ! तुमने नीति तो अच्छी विचारी, परन्तु मेरा प्रण तो है शरणागत के भय को हर लेना है.
सुनि प्रभु बचन हरष हनुमाना। सरनागत बच्छल भगवाना ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराजजी कहते है कि, प्रभु के वचन सुनकर हनुमान् जी प्रसन्न हुए और मन ही मन में कहने लगे कि भगवान कैसे शरण में आये हुए पर पिता की ही भाँती प्रेम करने वाले हैं.

Doha: –
Jinh Paayanh Ke Paadukanhi Bharatu Rahe Man Laai।
Te Pad Aaju Bilokihun Inh Nayananhi Ab Jai।।
Explaining the meaning of the verse, Valvyas Sumanji Maharaj says that, on whose feet Bharatji has concentrated his mind, Aha! Today I will go and see those same feet with these eyes.
Choupai: –
Ehi Bidhi Karat Saprem Bichaara। Aayyu Sapadi Sindhu Ehin Paara।।
Kapinh Vibhishanu Aavat Dekha। Jaana Kou Ripu Doot Bisesha ।।
Explaining the meaning of the verse, Maharajji says that, thinking in this way with love, he soon came to the other side of the sea where Shri Ramchandraji army was. When the monkeys saw Vibhishana coming, they knew that there was a special messenger of the enemy.
Taahi Raakhi Kapis Pahin Aae। Samachar Sab Taahi Sunae।।
Kah Sugriv Sunahu Raghurai। Aava Milan Dasanan Bhai ।।
Explaining the meaning of the verse, Maharaj Ji says that after keeping him on guard, he came to Sugriva and told him all the news. Sugriva went to Shri Ramchandraji and said – O Raghunath ji! Listen, Ravana’s brother has come to meet you.
Kah Prabhu Sakha Boojhie Kaha। Kahi Kapees Sunahu Naranaaha।।
Jaani Na Jai Nishaachar Maya। Kaamaroop Kehi Karan aaya।।
Explaining the meaning of the verse, Maharajji says that, Lord Shri Ramchandraji said – O friend! What is your opinion? Monkey King Sugriva said – O King! Listen, the illusion of demons is not known. Don’t know why this person who changes his form as per his wish has come.
Bhed Hamaar Len Sath Aava। Raakhi Baandhi Mohi As Bhaava।।
Sakha Neeti Tumh Neeki Bichaaree। Mam Pan Saranaagat Bhayahari।।
Explaining the meaning of the verse, Maharajji says that it seems that this fool has come to spy on us, hence I feel it is better that he should be kept tied. Then Shri Ramchandraji said – O friend! Your policy is well thought out, but I pledge to remove the fear of surrender.
Suni Prabhu Bachan Harsh Hanumana।
Saranaagat Bachchhal Bhagavaanaa ।।
Explaining the meaning of the verse, Maharajji says that after hearing the words of the Lord, Hanuman ji became happy and started saying in his mind that how the Lord, who has come for refuge, loves us like a father.
