दोहा: –
राम बान अहि गन सरिस निकर निसाचर भेक।
जब लगि ग्रसत न तब लगि जतनु करहु तजि टेक ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराज जी कहते है कि, श्रीरामचन्द्र जी के बाण सर्पो के समूह के समान है और राक्षसो के समूह मेढक के समान. जब तक वे इन्हें निगल नहीं जाते तब तक हठ छोड़कर उपाय कर लीजिए.
चौपाई: –
श्रवन सुनी सठ ता करि बानी। बिहसा जगत बिदित अभिमानी।।
सभय सुभाउ नारि कर साचा। मंगल महुँ भय मन अति काचा ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराज जी कहते है कि, मूर्ख और जगत प्रसिद्ध अभिमानी रावण कानों से उसकी वाणी सुनकर खूब हँसा और बोला – स्त्रियों का स्वभाव सचमुच ही बहुत डरपोक होता है. मंगल मे भी भय करती हो. तुम्हारा ह्रदय बहुत ही कमजोर है.
जौं आवइ मर्कट कटकाई। जिअहिं बिचारे निसिचर खाई।।
कंपहिं लोकप जाकी त्रासा। तासु नारि सभीत बड़ि हासा ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराज जी कहते है कि, यदि वानरों की सेना आवेगी तो बेचारे राक्षस उसे खाकर अपना जीवन निर्वाह करेंगे. लोकपाल भी जिसके डर से काँपते है, उसकी स्त्री डरती है, यह बड़ी हँसी की बात है.
अस कहि बिहसि ताहि उर लाई। चलेउ सभाँ ममता अधिकाई।।
मंदोदरी हृदयँ कर चिंता। भयउ कंत पर बिधि बिपरीता ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराज जी कहते है कि, रावण ने ऐसा कहकर और हँसकर उसे ह्रदय से लगा लिया और ममता दीखाकर वह सभा में चला गया. मंदोदरी हृदय में चिन्ता करने लगी कि पति पर विधाता प्रतिकूल हो गए हैं.
बैठेउ सभाँ खबरि असि पाई। सिंधु पार सेना सब आई।।
बूझेसि सचिव उचित मत कहहू। ते सब हँसे मष्ट करि रहहू ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराज जी कहते है कि, ज्यों ही वह सभा मे जाकर बैठा, उसने ऐसी खबर पाई कि शत्रु की सारी सेना समुन्द्र के उस पार आ गई है, उसने मंत्रियो से पूछा कि उचित सलाह कहिए – अब क्या करना चाहिए ?. तब वे सब हँसे और बोले कि चुप रहिए, इसमे सलाह की कौन सी बात है ?.
जितेहु सुरा सुर तब श्रम नाहीं। नर बानर केहि लेखे माही ।।
श्लोक का अर्थ बताते हुए महाराज जी कहते है कि, आपने देवताओं और राक्षसो को जीत लिया, तब तो कुछ श्रम ही नहीं हुआ. तो फिर मनुष्य और वानर किस गिनती में है?.

Explaining the meaning of the verse, Maharaj ji says that after saying this, Ravana hugged him to his heart with a smile and after showing affection, he went to the meeting. Mandodari started worrying in her heart that the Creator had turned hostile towards her husband.

Then they all laughed and said, keep quiet, what is the point of advice in this?
