- महिला क्रांतिकारी नगेन्द्र बाला:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1926 में महिला क्रांतिकारी नगेन्द्र बाला का जन्म हुआ था. नगेन्द्र बाला क्रान्तिकारी केसरी सिंह बारहठ की पौत्री और प्रताप सिंह बारहठ की भतीजी थीं. वर्ष 1942 के स्वाधीनता आंदोलन में नगेन्द्र बाला ने बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया था. राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गाँधी के निधन पर वे दिल्ली से अस्थि कलश लेकर कोटा आईं और चम्बल नदी में उनकी अस्थियां विसर्जित की थी.

- स्वतंत्रता सेनानी जतिन दास:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1929 में स्वतंत्रता सेनानी जतिन दास ने लाहौर जेल में 63 दिनों की भूख हड़ताल के बाद उनकी मौत हो गई थी.
- शास्त्रीय संगीत गायिका प्रभा अत्रे:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1932 में भारतीय शास्त्रीय संगीत गायिका प्रभा अत्रे का जन्म महाराष्ट्र के पुणे में हुआ था. प्रभा अत्रे भारत के किराना घराने की शास्त्रीय संगीत गायिका हैं. उन्होंने दिल्ली के इंडिया हैबिटैट सेन्टर में संगीत पर हिन्दी और अंग्रेजी में 11 पुस्तकें वर्ष 2016 में विमोचित की थीं.
- नूर इनायत ख़ान:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1944 में नूर इनायत ख़ान का निधन हुआ था. दूसरे विश्व युद्ध में भारतीय मूल की नूर इनायत खां अकेली वायरलेस ऑपरेटर थीं. जिन्हें ब्रिटेन ने फ्रांस में जासूसी के लिए भेजा था. इस युद्ध में उनके कारनामों के लिए ब्रिटेन ने उन्हें जॉर्ज क्रॉस से सम्मानित किया था.
- मेजर रामास्वामी परमेस्वरन:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1946 में परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित भारतीय सैनिक मेजर रामास्वामी परमेस्वरन का जन्म बम्बई में हुआ था.
