दस महाविद्याओं में दसवीं महाविद्या हैं. माँ कमला. मां कमला, जिन्हें कमलात्मिका या तांत्रिक लक्ष्मी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. वहीं , मां कमला देवी को माँ लक्ष्मी का तांत्रिक रूप भी बताया जाता है. उन्हें धन, समृद्धि और सौभाग्य की देवी के रूप में पूजा जाता है. श्रीमद्भागवत के आठवें स्कंद के आठवें अध्याय में मां कमला की उत्पत्ति का वर्णन मिलता है. उनका नाम “कमल” से जुड़ा है, क्योंकि वे कमल पुष्प पर विराजमान होती हैं और कमल उन्हें अत्यंत प्रिय है.
मां कमला का स्वरूप अत्यंत दिव्य और मनोहर है. वे सोने के समान आभा वाली, कमल पर विराजमान, चार भुजाओं वाली देवी हैं. उनके हाथों में कमल, अमृत कलश, अभय मुद्रा और वर मुद्रा होती है. उन्हें अक्सर हाथियों द्वारा जल सिंचन करते हुए दर्शाया जाता है, जो राजसी वैभव और सौभाग्य का प्रतीक है. मां कमला को आदि शक्ति का ही एक रूप माना जाता है. वे न केवल भौतिक समृद्धि प्रदान करती हैं, बल्कि आध्यात्मिक उन्नति में भी सहायक मानी जाती हैं. उनकी उपासना से व्यक्ति राजसी ऐश्वर्य, माया पर विजय और कर्म बंधन से मुक्ति प्राप्त कर सकता है. वे स्थायी लक्ष्मी प्रदान करती हैं, जिससे घर में निरंतर धन और समृद्धि बनी रहती है.
देवी भागवत और तंत्र ग्रंथों में माँ कमला को अत्यन्त पूजनीय माना गया है. वे विष्णु प्रिया हैं—अर्थात जगत की पालनकर्ता शक्ति के साथ उनकी युति है. श्रीविद्या साधना में उनका स्थान विशिष्ट है, जहाँ वे श्रीचक्र की शक्ति रूपा मानी जाती हैं. दीपावली की रात माँ लक्ष्मी की आराधना में माँ कमला के स्वरूप की भी छाया होती है—एक ऐसी शक्ति जो धन से अधिक धर्म को महत्व देती है.
कथा: –
मां कमला की उत्पत्ति का संबंध समुद्र मंथन से जुड़ा है. जब देवों और दानवों द्वारा अमृत प्राप्ति के लिए समुद्र का मंथन किया गया, तब विभिन्न रत्नों और दिव्य वस्तुओं के साथ-साथ देवी कमला का भी प्रादुर्भाव हुआ. उन्होंने भगवान विष्णु को पति रूप में वरण किया. वहीं दूसरी ओर, मां कमला देवी सती या देवी पार्वती का ही रूप हैं, लेकिन उन्हें मां लक्ष्मी के ही समान माना जाता है. वे यह दर्शाती हैं कि देवी पार्वती ही देवी लक्ष्मी हैं और देवी लक्ष्मी ही देवी पार्वती हैं.
मां कमला की उपासना अपने भक्तों को जीवन के हर क्षेत्र में सफलता, समृद्धि और खुशहाली प्रदान करती है. उनकी कृपा से जीवन में सभी प्रकार के मनोरथ सिद्ध होते हैं.

Maa Kamala is the tenth Mahavidya among the ten Mahavidyas—Maa Kamala, who is also known as Kamalatmika or Tantrik Lakshmi. Maa Kamala Devi is also described as the Tantric form of Maa Lakshmi. She is worshipped as the goddess of wealth, prosperity and good fortune. The origin of Maa Kamala is described in the eighth chapter of the eighth Skand of Shrimad Bhagwat. Her name is associated with “lotus” because she sits on a lotus flower, and lotus is very dear to her.
Maa Kamala’s form is very divine and beautiful. She is a four-armed goddess with an aura like gold, sitting on a lotus. She has lotus, Amrit Kalash, Abhay Mudra and Var Mudra in her hands. She is often depicted sprinkling water by elephants, which is a symbol of royal splendor and good fortune. Maa Kamala is considered to be a form of Adi Shakti. She not only provides material prosperity, but is also regarded as helpful in spiritual progress. By worshipping her, a person can attain royal opulence, victory over Maya and freedom from the bondage of karma. She provides permanent Lakshmi, due to which wealth and prosperity remain in the house continuously.
Maa Kamala is considered highly worshipable in the Devi Bhagwat and Tantra texts. She is Vishnu Priya – that is, she is united with the power that protects the world. She has a special place in Srividya Sadhana, where she is considered the power form of Srichakra. In the worship of Maa Lakshmi on the night of Diwali, there is also a shadow of the form of Maa Kamala, a power that gives more importance to religion than wealth.
Story: –
The origin of Maa Kamala is related to the Samudra Manthan. When the ocean was churned by the gods and demons to obtain nectar, Goddess Kamala also emerged along with various gems and divine objects. She chose Lord Vishnu as her husband. On the other hand, Maa Kamala Devi is a form of Sati or Goddess Parvati, but she is considered equal to Maa Lakshmi. She shows that Goddess Parvati is Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Lakshmi is Goddess Parvati.
Worship of Maa Kamala gives success, prosperity and happiness to her devotees in every sphere of life. By her grace, all kinds of wishes are fulfilled in life.
