1. राजनीतिज्ञ मलिक अम्बर:- वर्ष 1626 में मध्यकालीन भारत के सबसे बड़े राजनीतिज्ञ मलिक अम्बर का निधन हुआ था.
2. लाल किले:- वर्ष 1648 में दिल्ली में लाल किले का निर्माण पूरा हुआ.
3. स्वतंत्रता सेनानी मथुरा प्रसाद मिश्र वैद्य:- वर्ष 1901 में स्वतंत्रता सेनानी मथुरा प्रसाद मिश्र वैद्य का जन्म कोदकापुर गांव, सीतापुर,(उत्तर प्रदेश) में हुआ था.मथुरा प्रसाद पेशे से वैद्य थे और स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के आन्दोलन में कई बार जेल भी गए थे.
4. राष्ट्रपति फखरुद्दीन अली अहमद:- वर्ष 1905 में राष्ट्रपति फखरुद्दीन अली अहमद का जन्म पुरानी दिल्ली के हौज़ ख़ास इलाक़े में हुआ था. उनके दादा का नाम ‘खलीलुद्दीन अहमद’ और पिता का नाम कर्नल ज़लनूर अली और माता दिल्ली के लोहारी के नवाब की बेटी थी. वर्ष 1974 में प्रधानमंत्री इन्दिरा गांधी ने अहमद को राष्ट्रपति पद के लिए चुना और वे भारत के दूसरे मुस्लिम राष्ट्रपति बन गए. इन्दिरा गांधी के कहने पर उन्होंने वर्ष 1975 में अपने संवैधानिक अधिकार का इस्तेमाल किया और आंतरिक आपातकाल की घोषणा कर दी.
5. हास्य अभिनेता असित सेन:- वर्ष 1917 में हिंदी फ़िल्मों के हास्य अभिनेता असित सेन का जन्म गोरखपुर (उत्तर प्रदेश) में हुआ था. उन्हें फोटोग्राफी का बहुत शौक था, इसलिए उन्होंने गोरखपुर में सेन फोटो स्टूडियो खोला था. उन्होंने चार दशक तक बॉलीवुड पर चरित्र अभिनेता और हास्य कलाकार के रूप में अपनी खास पहचान बनाकर दर्शकों को अपनी अदाओं से लोट-पोट होने के लिए मजबूर कर दिया.
6. नृत्यांगना टी० बालासरस्वती:- वर्ष 1918 में भरतनाट्यम की सुप्रसिद्ध नृत्यांगना टी० बालासरस्वती का जन्म तमिलनाडु के चेन्नई (भूतपूर्व मद्रास) शहर में हुआ था.उन्होंने अपने कैरियर की शुरुआत वर्ष 1925 में की थी. बालासरस्वती दक्षिण भारत के बाहर भरतनाट्यम नृत्य प्रस्तुत करने वाली पहली कलाकार थीं. टी. बालासरस्वती को वर्ष 1955 में ‘संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्कार’, वर्ष 1973 में ‘मद्रास संगीत अकादमी’ से ‘कलानिधि पुरस्कार’ और वर्ष 1977 में ‘पद्म विभूषण’ से सम्मानित किया गया था.
7. पुरातत्त्वविद रामकृष्ण देवदत्त भांडारकर :-वर्ष 1950 में जाने-माने प्रसिद्ध पुरातत्त्वविद रामकृष्ण देवदत्त भांडारकर का निधन हुआ था.
8. शायर हसरत मुहानी:- वर्ष 1951 में लखनऊ के प्रसिद्ध शायर हसरत मुहानी का निधन हुआ था.
9. पहली संसद का सत्र:- वर्ष 1952 में स्वतंत्र भारत की पहली संसद का सत्र शुरू हुई थी.
10. आर्ट ऑफ लिविंग फाउंडेशन:- वर्ष 1956 में आर्ट ऑफ लिविंग फाउंडेशन की स्थापना करने वाले आध्यात्मिक नेता श्री श्री रवि शंकर का जन्म पापनाशम (तमिलनाडु) में हुआ था. उनके पिता का नाम व वेंकट रत्नम् और माता का नाम विशालाक्षी था. रविशंकर शुरू से ही आध्यात्मिक प्रवृत्ति के थे और मात्र 04 साल की उम्र में वे श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता के श्लोकों का पाठ कर लेते थे. बचपन में ही उन्होंने ध्यान करना शुरू कर दिया था.
11. राष्ट्रपति सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्ण:- वर्ष 1962 में देश के दूसरे राष्ट्रपति सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्ण बने. वे भारतीय संस्कृति के संवाहक, प्रख्यात शिक्षाविद, महान दार्शनिक और एक आस्थावान हिन्दू विचारक थे. उनके इन्हीं गुणों के कारण वर्ष 1954 में भारत सरकार ने उन्हें सर्वोच्च सम्मान भारत रत्न से अलंकृत किया था.
12. ध्वजवाहक जहाज आईएनएस:- वर्ष 1978 में देश का पहला ध्वजवाहक जहाज आईएनएस दिल्ली सेवामुक्त हुआ. आईएनएस दिल्ली भारतीय नौसेना के निर्देशित-मिसाइल विध्वंसक के अपने वर्ग का प्रमुख जहाज है. इसे मुंबई में मज़गन डॉक लिमिटेड ने बनाया था और 15 नवंबर 1997 को कमीशन किया गया था. यह वर्ग भारत में डिजाइन और निर्मित किए जाने वाले सबसे बड़े युद्धपोतों में से एक है.
13. परमाणु परीक्षण:- वर्ष 1998 में भारत ने पोखरण में दो परमाणु परीक्षण किए.
14. कड़े प्रतिबंध:- वर्ष 1998 में अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति बिल क्लिंटन ने परमाणु परीक्षण के विरोध में भारत के ख़िलाफ़ कड़े प्रतिबंध की घोषणा की थी. वहीं, जापान ने भी भारत को दी जाने वाली सहायता पर रोक लगायी थी.
15. मिस यूनीवर्स :- वर्ष 2000 में हिन्दी फिल्मों की एक प्रसिद्ध अभिनेत्री लारा दत्ता मिस यूनीवर्स चुनी गईं. लारा की पहली फ़िल्म अंदाज़ थी.
16. आर० के० नारायण:- वर्ष 2001 में अंग्रेज़ी में लिखने वाले उत्कृष्ट भारतीय लेखकों में से एक आर० के० नारायण का निधन चेन्नई में हुआ था.
17. चिकित्सक हेमलता गुप्ता:- वर्ष 2006 में प्रसिद्ध भारतीय चिकित्सक हेमलता गुप्ता का निधन हुआ था.
18. सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता इला भट्:- वर्ष 2010 में भारतीय सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता इला भट्ट को निवानो शांति पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया था.
19. अभिनेता, नाटककार, निर्देशक और रंगमंच बादल सरकार:- वर्ष 2011 में प्रसिद्ध अभिनेता, नाटककार, निर्देशक और रंगमंच के सिद्धांतकार बादल सरकार का निधन हुआ था.
20. आध्यात्मिक गुरु बाबा हरदेव सिंह:- वर्ष 2016 में भारत के प्रसिद्ध संत और संत निरंकारी मिशन के आध्यात्मिक गुरु बाबा हरदेव सिंह का निधन हुआ था.
