1. नवाब वज़ीरअसफ-उद-दौला: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1748 में असफ-उद-दौला का जन्म फ़ैजाबाद में हुआ था. असफ-उद-दौला अवध के नवाब वज़ीर थे, जिन्हें शाह आलम द्वितीय द्वारा अनुमोदित किया गया था.
2. असाय की लड़ाई:- आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1803 में ब्रिटिश ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी ने असाय की लड़ाई में मराठा सेना को हराया था.
3. राव तुला राम: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1863 में रेवाड़ी के राजा राव तुलाराम का निधन काबुल (अफगानिस्तान) में संक्रमण फैलने के कारण हुआ था.
4. स्वतंत्रता सेनानी यूसुफ मेहर अली: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1903 में स्वतंत्रता सेनानी यूसुफ मेहर अली का जन्म मुम्बई के अभिजात्य वर्गीय खोजा मुस्लिम परिवार में हुआ था. उनका पूरा नाम यूसुफ़ जफर मेहर अली था. यूसुफ़ अली ने वर्ष 1930 के नमक सत्याग्रह में हिस्सा लिया था. वर्ष 1934 में ब्रिटिश राज पर षड्यन्त्र रचने के आरोप में उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर दो वर्ष के कठोर कारावास की सजा सुनाई गई थी.
5. कवि रामधारी सिंह दिनकर: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1908 में कवि रामधारी सिंह दिनकर का जन्म सिमरिया, मुंगेर (बिहार) में एक किसान परिवार में हुआ था. उनके पिता का नाम रवि सिंह था और उनकी माता का नाम मनरूप देवी था. रामधारी की कविताओं में छायावादी युग का प्रभाव होने का भी प्रमाण मिलता हैं।
6. भारत की पहली रसायन शास्त्री असीमा चटर्जी: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1917 में भारत की पहली रसायन शास्त्री असीमा चटर्जी का जन्म बंगाल में हुआ था. असीमा ने वर्ष 1936 में रसायन विज्ञान स्नातक की उपाधि प्राप्त की थी. उन्होंने वर्ष 1938 में कलकत्ता विश्वविद्यालय से जैव-रसायन विज्ञान में मास्टर की डिग्री के साथ स्नातक की उपाधि प्राप्त की, और उन्होंने 1944 में डॉक्टरेट की डिग्री पूरी की थी. असीमा ने अपने शोध को प्राकृतिक उत्पादों के रसायन विज्ञान के आसपास केंद्रित किया जिसके परिणामस्वरूप मलेरिया और कीमोथैरेपी की औषधी उपलब्ब्ध हुई.
7. शारदा अधिनियम: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1929 में बाल विवाह निरोधक विधेयक (शारदा अधिनियम) इम्पीरियल लेजिस्लेटिव काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया में पारित हुआ था. इस अधिनियम के तहत लड़कियों के विवाह की आयु 14 वर्ष और लड़कों की 18 वर्ष तय की गई जिसे बाद में लड़कियों के लिए 18 और लड़कों के लिए 21 कर दिया गया. बताते चलें कि, शारदा अधिनियम के संस्थापक समाज सुधारक हर विलास शारदा है. इन्हीं के अथक प्रयासों के कारण इस अधिनियम को शारदा अधिनियम भी कहा जाता है.
8. क्रांतिकारी प्रीतिलता वद्देदार: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1932 में बंगाली क्रांतिकारी सह लेखिका प्रीतिलता वद्देदार का निधन हुआ था.
9. अभिनेता प्रेम चोपड़ा: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1935 में हिंदी और पंजाबी फिल्मों के अभिनेता प्रेम चोपड़ा का जन्म लाहौर, पाकिस्तान में हुआ था. उनके पिता का नाम रनबीर लाल और माँ का नाम रूपरानी चोपड़ा है. प्रेम की प्रारम्भिक शिक्षा शिमला से पूरी की उसके बाद उन्होंने स्नातक की पढ़ाई पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय से पुरी की. प्रेम चोपड़ा ने अपने अभिनय कैरियर की शुरुआत वर्ष 1960 में फ़िल्म मुड़-मुड़के ना देख से शुरू की थी. प्रेम चोपड़ा ने अब तक करीब 380 फिल्मों में काम किया है.
10. अभिनेत्री तनुजा: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1943 में अभिनेत्री तनुजा का जन्म मुंबई के एक मराठी परिवार में हुआ था. उनके पिता का नाम फिल्म निर्देशक कुमार सेन सामर्थ और माता का नाम शोबना सामर्थ है. तनुजा की शादी बंगाली फिल्म निर्देशक शोमू मुखर्जी से हुई है. तनुजा ने अपने अभिनय कैरियर की शुरुआत बाल कलाकार के रूप में की थी.  बतौर अभिनेत्री उन्होंने अपने बॉलीवुड कैरियर की शुरुआत वर्ष 1960 में फिल्म छबीली से की थी. तनुजा ने सिर्फ हिंदी सिनेमा में ही अपनी धाक नहीं जमाई बल्कि कई बंगाली फिल्मों में भी अपनी अदायगी का बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन किया है.
11. अभिनेत्री नवनी परिहार: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1964 में अभिनेत्री नवनी परिहार का जन्म इंदौर, मध्य प्रदेश में हुआ था. नवनी ने अपने अभिनय कैरियर की शुरुआत वर्ष 1994 में फिल्म अरण्यका से की थी. नवनी ने ने अपने टेलीविजन कैरियर की शुरुआत वर्ष 1988 में मुजरिम हाजिर हो से की थी.
12. दुनिया के समलैंगिक राजकुमार मानवेंद्र सिंह गोहिल: – आज ही दिन वर्ष 1965 में राजपिपला (गुजरात) के महाराजा के पुत्र और संभावित उत्तराधिकारी मानवेंद्र सिंह गोहिल का जन्म अजमेर में हुआ था. उनके पिता का नाम राजपीपला रियासत के पूर्व महाराजा रघुवीर राजेंद्र सिंह और माता का नाम महारानी रुक्मिणी देवी है. मानवेन्द्र की प्रारम्भिक शिक्षा स्कॉटिस स्कूल (मुंबई ) से हुई साथ ही उन्होंने अमृतबेन जीवनलाल कॉलेज से स्नातक किया. मानवेन्द्र सिंह गोहिल एक चैरिटी ट्रस्ट चलाते हैं जिसका नाम है  “द लक्ष्य”.  यह ट्रस्ट मुख्य रूप से  एलजीबीटी समुदाय के लिए ही काम करती है.
13. चिकित्साशास्त्री सत्यनारायण शास्त्री: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1969 में चिकित्साशास्त्री सत्यनारायण शास्त्री का निधन हुआ था.
14. महाराजा जयचमराजा वोडेयार बहादुर: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1974 में मैसूर साम्राज्य के पच्चीसवें महाराजा जयचमराजा वोडेयार बहादुर का निधन हुआ था.
15. अभिनेत्री शालिनी पांडे: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1993 में अभिनेत्री शालिनी पांडे का जन्म जबलपुर (मध्य प्रदेश) के एक मध्यम वर्गीय परिवार में हुआ था. शालिनी ने ग्लोबल इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज, जबलपुर से बी.टेक किया. शालिनी ने अपने अभिनय कैरियर की शुरुआत तेलुगु फिल्म “अर्जुन रेड्डी” से की. उन्होंने वर्ष 2021 में हिंदी फिल्मों में अभिनय कैरियर की शुरुआत फिल्म “जयेशभाई जोरदार” से की.
16. सात उपग्रह कक्षा में स्थापित किए: – आज ही के दिन वर्ष 2009 में भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) ने भारतीय उपग्रह ओशन सैट-2 समेत सात उपग्रह कक्षा में स्थापित किए थे.

1. Nawab Wazir Asaf-ud-Daula: – On this day in the year 1748, Asaf-ud-Daula was born in Faizabad. Asaf-ud-Daula was the Nawab Vizier of Awadh, who was approved by Shah Alam II.
2. Battle of Assay: – On this day in the year 1803, the British East India Company defeated the Maratha army in the battle of Assay.
3. Rao Tula Ram: – On this day in the year 1863, Raja Rao Tula Ram of Rewari died due to the spread of infection in Kabul (Afghanistan).
4. Freedom fighter Yusuf Meher Ali: – On this day in the year 1903, freedom fighter Yusuf Meher Ali was born in an elite Khoja Muslim family in Mumbai. His full name was Yusuf Zafar Meherali. Yusuf Ali took part in the Salt Satyagraha of 1930. In the year 1934, he was arrested on charges of conspiring against the British Raj and sentenced to two years of rigorous imprisonment.
5. Poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar: – On this day in the year 1908, poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar was born in a farmer family in Simaria, Munger (Bihar). His father’s name was Ravi Singh and his mother’s name was Manroop Devi. There is also evidence of the influence of the Chhayavadi era in Ramdhari’s poems.
6. India’s first chemist Asima Chatterjee: – On this day in the year 1917, India’s first chemist Asima Chatterjee was born in Bengal. Asima obtained her bachelor’s degree in chemistry in the year 1936. He graduated from the University of Calcutta with a master’s in biochemistry in 1938 and completed his doctoral degree in 1944. Asima focused her research on the chemistry of natural products, resulting in medicines for malaria and chemotherapy.
7. Sharda Act: – On this day in the year 1929, the Child Marriage Restraint Bill (Sharda Act) was passed in the Imperial Legislative Council of India. Under this Act, the marriage age of girls was fixed at 14 years and that of boys at 18 years, which was later reduced to 18 for girls and 21 for boys. Let us tell you that the founder of the Sharda Act is social reformer, Har Vilas Sharda. Due to their tireless efforts, this Act is also called the Sharda Act.

Prem completed his primary education in Shimla, after which he completed his graduation from Punjab University. Prem Chopra started his acting career in the year 1960 with the film Mud Mudke Na Dekh. Tanuja started her acting career as a child artiste. She started her Bollywood career as an actress in the year 1960 with the film Chhabili. Tanuja has made her mark in Hindi cinema and has also given excellent performances in many Bengali films.

12. Manvendra Singh Gohil, the gay prince of the world: – On this day in the year 1965, Manvendra Singh Gohil, son and probable successor of the Maharaja of Rajpipla (Gujarat), was born in Ajmer. His father’s name is former Maharaja Raghuveer Rajendra Singh of Rajpipla State and his mother’s name is Maharani Rukmini Devi.
