सीआरपीएफ (केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल) शौर्य दिवस हर वर्ष 09 अप्रैल को मनाया जाता है. यह दिन सीआरपीएफ के उन जवानों की असाधारण बहादुरी, बलिदान और वीरता का सम्मान करने के लिए समर्पित है जिन्होंने देश की सुरक्षा और एकता को बनाए रखने के लिए अपने प्राण न्योछावर कर दिए. यह दिन विशेष रूप से वर्ष 1965 के उस ऐतिहासिक संघर्ष को याद करता है जब सीआरपीएफ जवानों ने गुजरात के रण ऑफ कच्छ में सरदार पोस्ट पर पाकिस्तानी सेना का सामना किया और उसे हराया था.
सीआरपीएफ की स्थापना 27 जुलाई 1939 को ‘क्राउन रिप्रेजेंटेटिव्स पुलिस’ के रूप में की गई थी. भारत की स्वतंत्रता के बाद इसका नाम बदलकर केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (Central Reserve Police Force) कर दिया गया. यह बल गृह मंत्रालय के अधीन कार्य करता है और देश की आंतरिक सुरक्षा में सबसे बड़ा अर्धसैनिक बल है.
9 अप्रैल 1965 को, पाकिस्तान सेना ने रण ऑफ कच्छ के सरदार पोस्ट पर हमला किया. उस समय सीआरपीएफ की एक छोटी टुकड़ी ने अद्वितीय साहस और रणनीतिक कौशल का प्रदर्शन किया. केवल 6 घंटे में, सीआरपीएफ ने पाकिस्तान के 3000 सैनिकों को पीछे हटने पर मजबूर कर दिया. इस संघर्ष में कई जवान शहीद हुए लेकिन उन्होंने देश की सीमाओं को सुरक्षित रखा. यह घटना सीआरपीएफ के इतिहास में अद्वितीय वीरता की मिसाल बन गई.
सीआरपीएफ शौर्य दिवस के दिन देश के लिए प्राण न्योछावर करने वाले जवानों को सम्मानित करता है. यह दिवस युवाओं को देशभक्ति और राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पण की प्रेरणा भी देता है साथ ही यह दिवस सभी सीआरपीएफ कर्मियों के कर्तव्यों और समर्पण को मान्यता देता है.
सीआरपीएफ शौर्य दिवस केवल एक तारीख नहीं, बल्कि भारतीय सुरक्षा बलों की अदम्य साहस, वीरता और बलिदान का प्रतीक है. यह दिन हमें यह याद दिलाता है कि जब बात देश की सुरक्षा की हो, तो हमारे जवान हर कठिनाई का सामना करते हुए दुश्मन को मुंहतोड़ जवाब देने में सक्षम हैं. यह दिवस हमें हमारे जवानों के प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करने और उनके आदर्शों को अपनाने का अवसर प्रदान करता है.

CRPF Shaurya Diwas…
The CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) observes Shaurya Diwas every year on 9 April. This day is dedicated to honour the extraordinary bravery, sacrifice and valour of the CRPF personnel who laid down their lives to maintain the security and unity of the country. This day especially remembers the historic conflict of the year 1965 when CRPF personnel faced and defeated the Pakistani Army at Sardar Post in Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.
The CRPF was established on 27 July 1939 as ‘Crown Representatives Police’. After India’s independence, it was renamed the Central Reserve Police Force. This force works under the Ministry of Home Affairs and is the largest paramilitary force in the internal security of the country.
On 9 April 1965, the Pakistan Army attacked Sardar Post in Rann of Kutch. At that time, a small contingent of CRPF demonstrated unparalleled courage and strategic skills. In just 6 hours, CRPF forced 3000 Pakistani soldiers to retreat. Many soldiers were martyred in this conflict but they kept the country’s borders safe. This incident became an example of unparalleled bravery in the history of CRPF.
The CRPF honours the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country of Shaurya Diwas. This day also inspires the youth to patriotism and dedication to the nation and this day recognizes the duties and dedication of all CRPF personnel.
CRPF Shaurya Diwas is not just a date, but a symbol of indomitable courage, valour and sacrifice of the Indian security forces. This day reminds us that when it comes to the security of the country, our soldiers are capable of giving a befitting reply to the enemy while facing every difficulty. This day allows us to express gratitude to our soldiers and adopt their ideals.
