एक छोटे से शहर में, राजू नाम का एक लड़का रहता था. राजू बहुत ही मेहनती और होनहार था, लेकिन उसका व्यक्तित्व बहुत ही शांत और संकोची था. वह हमेशा दूसरों की तारीफ़ सुनता था, लेकिन खुद को कभी किसी से कम नहीं समझता था. उसकी इसी विशेषता ने उसे एक दिन बहुत बड़ा बना दिया.
राजू के स्कूल में एक नया छात्र आया, जिसका नाम राहुल था. राहुल बहुत ही आत्मविश्वासी और बातूनी था. वह हमेशा अपनी बातों से सबको प्रभावित करने की कोशिश करता था. राहुल ने राजू को देखा और उसके शांत व्यक्तित्व को कमज़ोर समझ लिया. उसने राजू को चुनौती दी कि वह उससे बेहतर प्रदर्शन कर सकता है. राजू ने राहुल की चुनौती को स्वीकार कर लिया, लेकिन उसने अपने तरीके से. उसने कभी भी राहुल से बहस नहीं की, न ही उसके सामने अपनी बड़ाई की. बजाय इसके, राजू ने अपनी मेहनत और लगन से सबको प्रभावित करना शुरू किया. उसने अपनी पढ़ाई में और भी ज़्यादा मेहनत की और खेल-कूद में भी अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया.
एक दिन स्कूल में एक प्रतियोगिता हुई, जिसमें राजू और राहुल दोनों ने भाग लिया. प्रतियोगिता में राजू ने अपने शांत और संयमित व्यक्तित्व का परिचय दिया. उसने हर चुनौती को धैर्यपूर्वक स्वीकार किया और उसे पूरा किया. वहीं राहुल अपने आत्मविश्वास के बल पर आगे बढ़ रहा था, लेकिन जल्दबाज़ी में उसने कई गलतियाँ कर दीं. अंत में, राजू ने प्रतियोगिता जीत ली. सभी ने उसकी सराहना की और उसे सम्मानित किया. राहुल ने राजू से माफ़ी माँगी और कहा, “तुम्हारे व्यक्तित्व ने मुझे सिखाया है कि असली ताकत शोर मचाने में नहीं, बल्कि कम से बोलने में होती है.”
राजू ने मुस्कुराते हुए कहा, “राहुल, हर किसी का व्यक्तित्व अलग होता है. तुम्हारा आत्मविश्वास और मेरा संयम, दोनों ही अपनी जगह सही हैं. ज़रूरत है तो बस अपने व्यक्तित्व को सही दिशा में ले जाने की.” इस घटना के बाद, राजू और राहुल अच्छे दोस्त बन गए. दोनों ने एक-दूसरे से सीखा और अपने व्यक्तित्व को और भी निखारा.
इस कहानी से हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि हर किसी का व्यक्तित्व अलग होता है और हर व्यक्तित्व की अपनी विशेषताएँ होती हैं. ज़रूरत है तो बस अपने व्यक्तित्व को पहचानने और उसे सही दिशा में ले जाने की. अच्छा व्यक्तित्व हमें न केवल सफल बनाता है, बल्कि दूसरों के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत भी बनाता है.

Personality…
In a small town, there lived a boy named Raju. Raju was very hardworking and promising, but his personality was very quiet and shy. He always listened to the praises of others, but never considered himself inferior to anyone. This quality of his made him great one day.
A new student named Rahul came to Raju’s school. Rahul was very confident and talkative. He always tried to impress everyone with his words. Rahul saw Raju and considered his quiet personality as weak. He challenged Raju that he could perform better than him. Raju accepted Rahul’s challenge but in his own way. He never argued with Rahul, nor did he boast in front of him. Instead, Raju started impressing everyone with his hard work and dedication. He worked even harder in his studies and also performed well in sports.
One day there was a competition in the school in which both Raju and Rahul participated. In the competition, Raju showed his calm and composed personality. He accepted every challenge patiently and completed it. Rahul, on the other hand, was moving ahead with his confidence, but in haste, he made many mistakes. In the end, Raju won the competition. Everyone appreciated and honoured him. Rahul apologized to Raju and said, “Your personality has taught me that the real strength is not in making noise, but in speaking softly.”
Raju smiled and said, “Rahul, everyone has a different personality. Your confidence and my restraint, are right in their place. All you need is to take your personality in the right direction.” After this incident, Raju and Rahul became good friends. Both learned from each other and improved their personality even more.
From this story, we learn that everyone’s personality is different and every personality has its characteristics. All you need is to recognize your personality and take it in the right direction. A good personality not only makes us successful but also makes us a source of inspiration for others.
