माँ बगलामुखी को दस महाविद्याओं में से एक माना जाता है और वे तंत्र साधना में अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण देवी हैं. इन्हें ‘स्तंभन शक्ति’ की देवी माना जाता है, जो शत्रुओं और नकारात्मक शक्तियों को रोकने की क्षमता रखती हैं. माँ बगलामुखी को पीताम्बरा देवी भी कहा जाता है, क्योंकि उनका स्वरूप और पूजा में पीले रंग का विशेष महत्व होता है.
देवी बगलामुखी का स्वरूप अत्यंत तेजस्वी और पीत वर्ण का होता है. वे पीले वस्त्र धारण करती हैं और उनका आसन भी पीले रंग का होता है. उनकी मुद्रा शत्रुओं का संहार करने वाली होती है, और वे अपने भक्तों की रक्षा करती हैं. वे एक हाथ में गदा धारण किए हुए हैं और दूसरे हाथ से शत्रु की जिह्वा पकड़ती हैं, जो यह दर्शाता है कि वे शत्रुओं की वाणी और दुष्ट प्रवृत्तियों को नियंत्रित करती हैं.
माँ बगलामुखी को विशेष रूप से शत्रु नाश और न्यायिक मामलों में सफलता के लिए इनकी आराधना की जाती है. तंत्र साधना में मां बगलामुखी की विशेष उपासना की जाती है, जिससे साधक को अद्भुत सिद्धियां प्राप्त हो सकती हैं. बुरी नजर, तंत्र-मंत्र, बाधाओं, वाणी व वाद-विवाद और संकटों से रक्षा के लिए मां बगलामुखी की उपासना की जाती है.
पूजा विधि: –
माँ बगलामुखी की उपासना में पीले वस्त्र, पीला आसान, पीले पुष्प, चना दाल, हल्दी, पीले फल और हल्दी से रंगी हुई मूर्ति या चित्र का प्रयोग करना चाहिए.
