आधुनिक युग में महिलाओं ने शिक्षा, रोजगार, राजनीति और समाज के हर क्षेत्र में अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई है. वे अब केवल घर की चारदीवारी तक सीमित नहीं हैं, बल्कि हर क्षेत्र में पुरुषों के साथ कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर चल रही हैं. परंतु, इस प्रगति के बावजूद, आज भी समाज में कट्टरपंथी सोच का प्रभाव बना हुआ है, जो महिलाओं की स्वतंत्रता और अधिकारों को सीमित करने का प्रयास करती है.

Radical thinking is that which believes in old beliefs and stereotypes without any logic. This thinking considers women to be subordinate to men and wants to confine them to home and family. According to fundamentalist thinking, the role of women should be limited only to that of wife, mother and daughter. They are opposed to giving them opportunities for education, employment and independence. This thinking considers women “weak” and “dependent on men” and prevents them from becoming self-reliant.

There is a constant struggle going on between the modern woman and fundamentalist thinking. The modern woman is fighting for her rights and freedom, while fundamentalist thinking tries to stop her. This struggle can be seen in every sphere of society.

They should get equal status in society. For this, it is necessary that people are made aware about the importance of gender equality and radical thinking should be challenged.
