वाहन में सवार जब मैं आगे भाग रहा होता हूँ,

तब खिड़की से चीजें दिखाई देती हैं निकट की पीछे भागती हुई कुछ दूर की स्थिर और बहुत दूर की साथ चलती हुई जबकि हर चीज़ की अवस्थिति रहती है वही नहीं पड़ता है कुछ फ़र्क़ उसमें मेरे भागने से

और देखा जाए तो मैं भी कहाँ भाग रहा होता हूँ,

भाग रहा होता है मात्र मेरा प्राकृत शरीर सीमित गति से निश्चित गंतव्य की ओर भाग रहा होता है अनंत गति से मन अनिश्चित दिशाओं में निरंतर इन यथार्थ एवं आभासी गतियों के बीच मेरी चेतना की अवस्थिति रहती है बहुधा वही जो है जन्मना या कदाचित् जन्म-जन्मांतर से.
