करगिल विजय दिवस

करगिल विजय दिवस हर वर्ष  26 जुलाई को मनाया जाता है. यह दिन 1999 में करगिल युद्ध में भारत की जीत की स्मृति में मनाया जाता है. इस युद्ध में भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों ने पाकिस्तानी घुसपैठियों को भारतीय सीमा से बाहर कर दिया था.

ये युद्ध 3 मई 1999 की घुसपैठ से लेकर 26 जुलाई 1999 को भारत के विजय दिवस तक करीब 84 दिन चला था. पाकिस्तान सेना और घुसपैठियों को करगिल से खदेड़ते हुए भारतीय सेना ने इसमें जीत हासिल की थी. इस विजय को प्राप्त करने में भारतीय सेना के कई जवान शहीद हुए थे.

इस दिन, देश भर में कई कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं, जिसमें शहीद सैनिकों को श्रद्धांजलि दी जाती है और उनके बलिदान को याद किया जाता है. देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में सैन्य परेड, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम और वीर-गाथाएं सुनाई जाती हैं. विशेषकर द्रास, जम्मू-कश्मीर में स्थित करगिल युद्ध स्मारक पर विशेष समारोह आयोजित होते हैं, जहां युद्ध में शहीद हुए सैनिकों को सम्मानित किया जाता है.

करगिल विजय दिवस न केवल भारतीय सेना की वीरता की गाथा है, बल्कि यह प्रत्येक भारतीय को अपने देश के प्रति गर्व और सम्मान का अनुभव कराता है.

Kargil Vijay Diwas

Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated every year on 26 July. This day is celebrated in memory of India’s victory in the Kargil War in 1999. In this war, the Indian Armed Forces drove out Pakistani intruders from the Indian border.

This war lasted for about 84 days from the infiltration of 3 May 1999 to India’s Vijay Diwas on 26 July 1999. The Indian Army won it by driving out the Pakistani Army and intruders from Kargil. Many Indian Army soldiers were martyred in achieving this victory.

On this day, many programs are organized across the country, in which tributes are paid to the martyred soldiers, and their sacrifice is remembered. Military parades, cultural programs, and heroic tales are narrated in different parts of the country. Special ceremonies are organized at the Kargil War Memorial, especially located in Drass, Jammu and Kashmir, where soldiers martyred in the war are honored.

Kargil Vijay Diwas is not only the saga of the bravery of the Indian Army, but it also makes every Indian feel proud and respectful towards their country.
