सार्वभौमिक पहुंच के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस (International Day for Universal Access to Information – IDUAI) हर वर्ष  28 सितंबर को मनाया जाता है. इसका उद्देश्य लोगों के सूचना के अधिकार और सार्वजनिक जानकारी तक पहुँच की आवश्यकता को बढ़ावा देना है. यह दिन खासतौर पर उन मुद्दों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करता है जो जानकारी की उपलब्धता, पारदर्शिता और सशक्तिकरण के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं.

सार्वभौमिक पहुंच के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस पहली बार 2015 में यूनेस्को (UNESCO) द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त किया गया था. सार्वभौमिक सूचना की पहुंच का अधिकार इस बात का प्रतीक है कि लोग सरकारी और सार्वजनिक संस्थानों द्वारा लिए गए निर्णयों से जुड़ी जानकारी तक स्वतंत्र रूप से पहुंच सकते हैं. यह किसी भी लोकतांत्रिक समाज के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है, क्योंकि यह लोगों को निर्णय लेने की प्रक्रिया में शामिल होने और जवाबदेही को सुनिश्चित करने में मदद करता है.
