केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (CRPF) भारत का सबसे बड़ा केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बल है. यह भारत के गृह मंत्रालय के अधीन आता है और इसका मुख्य कार्य देश की आंतरिक सुरक्षा और कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखना है.

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is the largest central armed police force in India. It comes under the Ministry of Home Affairs of India and its main function is to maintain the internal security and law and order of the country.
The Central Reserve Police Force was formed on 27 July 1939 under the name “Crown Representatives Police”. Its purpose was to provide security to the rulers of Indian princely states during British rule. After the independence of India, it was renamed as Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on 28 December 1949.
The Foundation Day of CRPF is celebrated every year on 27 July. This day is dedicated to honoring the history of the force and its contributions. The day is celebrated with various events, parades, and ceremonies in which members and officers of the force take part.
