तिब्बती महिला विद्रोह दिवस 12 मार्च को मनाया जाता है. इस दिन तिब्बती महिलाएं और समुदाय के अन्य सदस्य तिब्बत पर चीन के कब्जे और तिब्बती लोगों पर किए गए अत्याचारों के विरोध में एकत्र होते हैं. यह दिवस विशेष रूप से 1959 में हुई उस घटना की याद में मनाया जाता है जब तिब्बती महिलाएं पहली बार एकजुट होकर चीनी कब्जे के खिलाफ खड़ी हुई थीं.
इस दिवस के अवसर पर, तिब्बती महिला संघ और अन्य समूह धर्मशाला और विश्वभर में चीन की दमनकारी नीतियों के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन करते हैं. इसमें शांति मार्च और रैलियां भी शामिल होती हैं. तिब्बती महिलाएं और समर्थक तिब्बत में चीनी सरकार द्वारा की गई यातनाओं, अत्याचारों और सांस्कृतिक तथा ऐतिहासिक धरोहरों के विनाश के खिलाफ अपनी आवाज उठाते हैं. वे तिब्बती महिलाओं पर हो रहे शोषण और मानवाधिकार हनन के विरुद्ध भी आवाज उठाती हैं.

Tibetan women’s rebellion day
Tibetan Women’s Uprising Day is celebrated on 12 March. On this day Tibetan women and other members of the community gather to protest against China’s occupation of Tibet and the atrocities committed on the Tibetan people. This day is especially celebrated in memory of the incident that took place in 1959 when Tibetan women stood united for the first time against Chinese occupation.
On this day, the Tibetan Women’s Association and other groups demonstrate against China’s repressive policies in Dharamshala and around the world. It also includes peace marches and rallies. Tibetan women and supporters raise their voices against the torture, atrocities and destruction of cultural and historical heritage carried out by the Chinese government in Tibet. She also raises her voice against the exploitation and human rights violations against Tibetan women.
