महिला न्यायाधीशों का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस हर वर्ष 10 मार्च को मनाया जाता है. यह विशेष दिन संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा न्याय प्रणाली में लैंगिक समानता को बढ़ावा देने और न्यायालयों में महिलाओं की भागीदारी को मान्यता देने के उद्देश्य से घोषित किया गया है.

International Day of Women Judges
The International Day of Women Judges is celebrated every year on 10 March. The United Nations declared this special day to promote gender equality in the justice system and recognise women’s participation in the courts.
This day is important because it provides an opportunity to appreciate the struggle of women to become judges and their contributions. The presence of women in the judiciary not only makes the justice system balanced and sensitive but also provides encouragement and inspiration to women in society.
Women judges in India and other countries have not only gained a prominent place in the judicial system, but they have also played an important role in social reform, protection of women’s rights and ensuring gender equality.
On the occasion of International Day of Women Judges, we should pledge that we encourage the participation of more and more women in the judiciary and provide them with all the means that facilitate their judicial journey.
