Walvyassumanji Maharaj,

Sun is called the soul of the world.

।।Om Hram Hrim Hraum Sa: Ome to the Sun: ।।

Walvyassumanji Maharaj,

Life is possible on this earth only from the sun, this is the real truth of today. From the Vedic period itself, Arya used to consider Surya as the doer of the whole world. The meaning of the word Surya is “all motivator, all illuminator, all promoter” as well as all welfare. According to the Hindu scripture Rigveda, the gods have given an important place to the Sun, whereas, according to the Yajurveda, “Chaksho Suryo Jayat” means “Sun” has been considered as the eye of God, whereas, according to the Brahmavairvata Purana, “Surya” has been described as the divine form. Is. According to Suryopanishad, “Sun” has been described as the only reason for the origin of the whole world, as well as according to a Shruti, the whole world is created and maintained by the Sun. It is said that in the Vedic period, Sun was worshiped or worshiped through mantras, after that idol worship became prevalent and temples were also built. According to the Bhavishya Purana, the dialogue between Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu talks about Sun worship and temple construction. It is said that due to the curse of sage Durvasa, Shri Krishna’s son Samba, who was suffering from leprosy, got rid of this terrible disease by worshiping the Sun. Apart from Vedic literature, the importance of the Sun has also been explained in Ayurveda, Astrology, and Palmistry.

Many temples of Lord Surya were built in ancient times, which present a wonderful piece of art in present times and are also world famous. According to Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran, Shri Shukdevji Maharaj says— Hey Rajan! There is space in the middle of Bhulok and Devlok, in Devlok itself Lord Surya illuminates the three worlds by sitting in the middle of the constellation stars. Due to moving through three routes named Uttarayan, Dakshinayan, and Vishwat, the Tropic of Cancer, Capricorn and the Tropic of Cancer are smaller, bigger, and equal day and night at the same speed. According to astrology, when Lord Surya resides in Aries and Libra, the day and night are equal, while when he resides in Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo, respectively, the night increases by one hour each month. increases and the days decrease, but when the Sun is in Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries, respectively, the day increases by one hour per month and the night becomes shorter.

Mr. Shukdevji Maharaj says— Hey Rajan! The path of circumambulation of the Sun is fifty-one lakh yojanas on Mansottar mountain, whereas, on the east side of Meru mountain is Indrapuri, on the south side is Yampuri, on the west side is Varunpuri, and on the north side is Chandrapuri. Sun revolves around Mount Meru, so there is sometimes a day, sometimes night, sometimes afternoon, and sometimes midnight in these puris. Lord Surya is seen setting right in front of the Puri in which it rises or in other words, the Puri where it is noon is just in front of that it is midnight. Shri Shukdevji Maharaj says that the movement of Lord Surya in fifteen hours is a little more than 125 crore and 1250 lakh yojanas, along with it the moon and other constellations also move along with it. It goes on to say that the Chariot of Lord Surya moves thirty-four lakh eight hundred Yojanas in a Muhurta (two hours) and also, the wheel of this Chariot is called Samvatsar, which has twelve arrays (months), six names, six seasons and three fours. It is said that one axle of this chariot is situated on Mount Mansottar and the other end is situated on Mount Meru.

According to Valvyassumanji Maharaj, if Lord Vishwaroop (Sun) is worshiped with Gayatri Mantra, it gives the best results to the seeker. If the seeker offers Arghya to Lord Vishwaroop every day in a copper vessel by adding water, sand, red flower, sweet, achhat, and red chili seeds while reciting Surya Mantra daily at the time of sunrise, then Lord Surya bestows the seeker with the best fruit. If the direct deity of the Hindu religion is worshiped with mantras, then Lord Suryadev becomes pleased and gives the best enjoyment.

Surya Gayatri Mantra: –

।। Om Adityaaya Bidmahe  Divakaraaya dhimahi: tanno: Surya: prachodaya ।।
