कामदा एकादशी…

सत्संग के दौरान एक भक्त ने महाराजजी से पूछा कि, महाराजजी चैत्र शुक्लपक्ष में जो एकादशी होती है उस एकादशी का नाम क्या है और उसे करने पर किस तरह का फल प्राप्त होता है. वालव्याससुमनजी महाराज कहते है कि, चैत्र का पावन और पवित्र महीना चल रहा है इस महीने की शुरुआत मनमनोहर, कमलनयन श्यामसुंदर से हुई है और समय के साथ चलते हुए ये पावन महिना माता भगवती के चरणों की आराधना करते हुए, भगवान वैकुंठपति के रतनारे नेत्र की या यूँ कहें भगवान आदित्य का महापर्व छठ और भगवान मारुती की आराधना करते हुए महीने के अंतिम समय में भगवान केशव से ही होती है. वालव्याससुमनजीमहाराज कहते है कि, मनुष्य का जीवन कर्म करने के लिए बनाया गया है और कर्म करने के दौरान जाने-अनजाने पाप हो जाते हैं और उन पापों की मुक्ति तथा मोक्ष पाने की अभिलाषा से पूजा-पाठ हवन के कर्म किये जाते हैं.

वालव्याससुमनजीमहाराज कहते है कि, चैत शुक्ल पक्ष की एकादशी का व्रत करने से मनुष्यों के सभी कार्य (काम) सिद्ध हो जाते हैं साथ ही ब्रह्महत्या व पिशाचत्व आदि दोषों का नाश होता है. इस एकादशी का नाम कामदा एकादशी है कामदा एकादशी के व्रत की कथा पढने या सुनने से वाजपेय यज्ञ का फल प्राप्त होता है. वालव्याससुमनजी महाराज कहते है कि, “विष्णु पुराण” में कामदा एकादशी व्रत की विस्तृत चर्चा की गई है. इस व्रत में भगवान विष्णु के “श्री हरी” की पूजा होती है और इस व्रत को करने से समस्त पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं. इस व्रत को करने वाले साधक को चाहिए की पूजा के पश्चात भगवान के समक्ष बैठकर भगवद कथा का पाठ करना चाहिए.

पूजन सामाग्री :-

वेदी,कलश,सप्तधान,पंच पल्लव,रोली, गोपी चन्दन, गंगा जल, दूध, दही, गाय के घी का दीपक, सुपाड़ी, विल्वपत्र, भांग, धतुरा, मोगरे की अगरबत्ती, ऋतू फल, फुल, आंवला, अनार, लौंग, नारियल, नीबूं, नवैध, केला और तुलसी पत्र व मंजरी.

व्रत विधि:-

सबसे पहले आपको एकादशी के दिन सुबह उठ कर स्नान करना चाहिए और व्रत का संकल्प लेना चाहिए. उसके बाद भगवान विष्णु की मूर्ति या चित्र की स्थापना की जाती है. उसके बाद भगवान विष्णु की पूजा के लिए धूप, दीप, नारियल और पुष्प का प्रयोग करना चाहिए. अंत में भगवान विष्णु के स्वरूप का स्मरण करते हुए ध्यान लगायें, उसके बाद विष्णु सहस्त्रनाम का पाठ करके, कथा पढ़ते हुए  विधिपूर्वक पूजन करें. ध्यान दें…. एकादशी की रात्री को जागरण अवश्य ही करना चाहिए, दुसरे दिन द्वादशी के दिन सुबह ब्राह्मणो को अन्न दान व दक्षिणा देकर इस व्रत को संपन्न करना चाहिए.

कथा:-

प्राचीनकाल में भोगीपुर नामक एक नगर था, वहाँ पर अनेक ऐश्वर्यों से युक्त पुण्डरीक नाम का एक राजा राज्य करते थे. भोगीपुर नगर में अनेक अप्सरा, किन्नर तथा गन्धर्व भी वास करते थे. उनमें से एक जगह ललिता और ललित नाम के दो स्त्री-पुरुष अत्यंत वैभवशाली घर में निवास किया करते थे. उन दोनों में अत्यंत स्नेह था, यहाँ तक कि अलग-अलग हो जाने पर दोनों व्याकुल हो जाते थे. एक दिन गन्धर्व ललित दरबार में गान कर रहा था कि अचानक उसे अपनी पत्नी की याद आ गई और इससे उसका स्वर, लय एवं ताल बिगडने लगा तथा इस त्रुटि को कर्कट नामक नाग ने जान लिया और यह बात राजा को बता दी. राजा को ललित पर बड़ा ही  क्रोध आया और राजा ने ललित को राक्षस होने का श्राप दे दिया.

जब उसकी प्रियतमा ललिता को यह वृत्तान्त मालूम हुआ तो उसे अत्यंत ही दुःख हुआ. ललित वर्षों वर्षों तक राक्षस योनि में घूमता रहा और उसकी पत्नी भी उसी का अनुकरण करती रही. अपने पति को इस हालत में देखकर वह बडी दुःखी होती थी. एक दिन वो  श्रृंगी ऋषि के आश्रम में जाकर विनीत भाव से प्रार्थना करने लगी, उसे देखकर श्रृंगी ऋषि बोले कि हे सुभगे! तुम कौन हो और यहाँ किस लिए आई हो? ‍ललिता बोली कि हे मुने! मेरा नाम ललिता है और मेरा पति राजा पुण्डरीक के श्राप से विशालकाय राक्षस हो गया है जिससे मुझे बहुत ही दुःख और गहरा आघात भी पहुंचा  है. अत: हे ऋषिवर मुझे इसके उद्धार का कोई उपाय बतलाइए.

श्रृंगी ऋषि बोले हे गंधर्व कन्या! चैत्र शुक्लपक्ष की एकादशी का व्रत करो जिसका नाम कामदा एकादशी भी है, इस व्रत को करने से मनुष्य के सब कार्य सिद्ध हो जाते हैं. यदि तू कामदा एकादशी का व्रत कर, उसके पुण्य का फल अपने पति को दे दो, तो वह शीघ्र ही राक्षस योनि से मुक्त हो जाएगा और राजा के श्राप भी अवश्यमेव शांत हो जाएगा. ललिता ने भी मुनि की आज्ञा का पालन किया और एकादशी का फल देते ही उसका पति राक्षस योनि से मुक्त होकर अपने पुराने स्वरूप को प्राप्त हुआ. फिर अनेक सुंदर वस्त्राभूषणों से युक्त होकर ललिता के साथ विहार करते हुए वे दोनों विमान में बैठकर स्वर्गलोक को प्राप्त हुए.

एकादशी का फल:-

एकादशी प्राणियों के परम लक्ष्य, भगवद भक्ति, को प्राप्त करने में सहायक होती है. यह दिन प्रभु की पूर्ण श्रद्धा से सेवा करने के लिए अति शुभकारी एवं फलदायक माना गया है. इस दिन व्यक्ति इच्छाओं से मुक्त हो कर यदि शुद्ध मन से भगवान की भक्तिमयी सेवा करता है तो वह अवश्य ही प्रभु की कृपापात्र बनता है.

Kamda Ekadashi…

During the Satsang, a devotee asked Maharajji, Maharajji, what is the name of the Ekadashi which is celebrated in Chaitra Shukla Paksha, and what kind of fruit is obtained by doing it. Walvyassumanjimaharaj says that the auspicious and holy month of Chaitra is going on. In other words, Chhath, the great festival of Lord Aditya and worshiping Lord Maruti, is celebrated with Lord Keshav at the end of the month. Valvyassumanji Maharaj says that the life of a human being has been created to perform actions and while doing actions, sins are committed knowingly or unknowingly, and with the desire to get rid of those sins and to get salvation, the deeds of worship and Havan are performed.

Walvyassumanji Maharaj says that, by fasting on the Ekadashi of Chait Shukla Paksha, all the works (work) of human beings become successful, as well as the defects of Brahmahatya and vampirism, etc. are destroyed. The name of this Ekadashi is Kamda Ekadashi. By reading or listening to the story of fasting on Kamda Ekadashi, the fruit of Vajpayee Yagya is obtained. Valvyassumanjimaharaj says that Kamda Ekadashi fast has been discussed in detail in “Vishnu Purana”. In this fast “Shri Hari” of Lord Vishnu is worshipped, and by observing this fast all the sins are destroyed. The seeker who observes this fast should recite Bhagavad Katha sitting in front of God after worship.

Worship material: –

Vedi, Kalash, Saptadhan, Panch Pallav, Roli, Gopi sandalwood, Ganga water, milk, curd, cow’s ghee lamp, supari, vilvapatra, cannabis, dhatura, mogre incense sticks, seasonal fruits, flowers, amla, pomegranate, cloves, Coconut, Lemon, Nawaidh, Banana and Tulsi Patra and Manjari.

Fasting method: –

First of all, on the day of Ekadashi, you should wake up early in the morning and take a bath and take a vow of fasting. After that, the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu is established. After that incense, lamps, coconut, and flowers should be used to worship Lord Vishnu. In the end, meditate remembering the form of Lord Vishnu, and after that recite Vishnu Sahastranam and worship it methodically while reciting the story. Pay attention… Jagran must be done on the night of Ekadashi, on the second day of Dwadashi, this fast should be completed by donating food and Dakshina to Brahmins.

Story:-

In ancient times, there was a city named Bhogipur, where a king named Pundrik ruled with much opulence. Many Apsaras, Kinnars, and Gandharvas also used to live in Bhogipur city. In one of them, two men and women named Lalita and Lalit used to live in a very luxurious house. Both of them had great affection, and even when separated, both used to get upset. One day Gandharva Lalit was singing in the court when suddenly he remembered his wife and due to this his voice, rhythm, and rhythm started deteriorating a snake named Karkat came to know about this mistake and told the king. The king got very angry with Lalit and the king cursed Lalit to be a demon.

When his beloved Lalita came to know about this incident, she felt very sad. Lalit wandered in the demon’s vagina for years and his wife also followed him. She was very sad to see her husband in this condition. One day she went to Shringi Rishi’s ashram and started praying humbly, seeing her, Shringi Rishi said, ‘O good luck! Who are you and why have you come here? Lalita said that O Mune! My name is Lalita and my husband has turned into a giant monster due to the curse of King Pundrik, which has caused me great sorrow and deep trauma. So, O Rishivar, tell me some way to get rid of it.

Shringi Rishi said, O Gandharva girl! Fast on the Ekadashi of Chaitra Shukla Paksha, which is also known as Kamda Ekadashi, by observing this fast, all the works of a man become successful. If you fast on Kamada Ekadashi, and give the fruit of his virtue to your husband, then he will soon be free from the demon’s vagina and the king’s curse will be pacified. Lalita also obeyed the order of the sage and as soon as she gave the fruit of Ekadashi, her husband got free from the demon vagina and attained his old form. Then, wearing many beautiful clothes and ornaments, both of them went to heaven sitting in the plane while walking with Lalita.

Results of Ekadashi: –

Ekadashi helps in achieving the ultimate goal of living beings, devotion to God. This day is considered very auspicious and fruitful to serve the Lord with full devotion. On this day, if a person frees himself from desires and does devotional service to God with a pure heart, then he becomes blessed by God.
